Hannah my Way

Next project is Hannah Way with lots of changes in the stitches.  The colors are whatever I want since it's not charted for DMC, and I'm using my own dye on 32 count. And I don't care.  I am really forcing myself now and thinking the end of stitching is near.

Lots of noise and sawdust today while I play with cardboard making templates for ideas.  So far, I've come up with five viable options and can't make up my mind, but think it will be similar to this with a pegboard beneath the cabinet.

These are the items I purchased at Vintage Folk the other day.

And here's someone who enjoys chasing her tail on my chair.

I plan to work on the box lid tonight so wish me luck.  I really can't see how there would be a problem but you know how that goes.

Made my rootin tootin bean salad yesterday and will try staying away from sweets for at least a few days.  Gained a few more pounds once again.  We purchased a bottle of Ken's light Raspberry Walnut Vinaigrette and honestly, I could drink it.  Saw a recipe on Pinterest using this and the taste is so fabulous, I don't want it mixed with other flavors.  Guzzled from the bottle or on lettuce, maybe chicken breasts will be as far as I go.

Have a great week!!
Thanks for visiting.

Missy has such a sweet "girl kitty " face. I've tried the raspberry walnut vinaigrette and love it.
Please don't say "NO" to stitching.
Have a Happy St. Patrick's Day ! We'll be eating ice cream and cake, celebrating my daughter's 40th birthday on the 17th. Don't know where the years have gone.

Also a fan of the Ken's Raspberry and Walnut vinaigrette. Make a home made version of it now and then too.

The little fur ball knows she runs the show, you tell by the expression!

???I need a new antique/prim shop, live in SW Pa. Where is this one, I am intrigued!

Your kitty is cute is looks like she could get into some mischief, lol. I like what you've stitched on Hannah so far and hope you don't give up on stitching. I still haven't picked up my needle and not feeling like I will anytime soon, but I know I will stitch again -- whenever my mojo decides to come back.

That vinaigrette looks good!

Please don't let the end of your stitching be near. You have so much talent!
Great finds at the antique shop.

Raspberry vinaigrette looks and sounds delish. Will be looking for it in our market. I have about 4 different projects ITW at one time... If I get burnt out of doing one then on to the next I go...like punch needle, wool applique, fraktur and now attempting to paint a canvas (rug) runner for my 9' long farm table...Oh yeah, hyper toofa too (check it out). I have more than one bucket list for sure.
Love your new finds especially the little stool.

Enjoy the day with your chin up,
Barb

Love the colors you've chosen for Hannah. And I'm really hoping you don't quit stitching. Looks like you pretty, furry friend has claimed your chair for her own. :) Love your purchases!

Beautiful work on Hannah. The colours you've chosen work so well.
Please don't even think about stopping stitching! I just can't imagine a time when you are not stitching either a PS Santa or a sampler.
I thought I was done with stitching but my mojo is back stronger than ever so maybe all you need is a bit of a break?
