Few words

I don't have anything nice or good to say, so it's best I keep my trap shut.

I received my order from Dames of the Needle and had a happy gasp when my eyes feasted upon these fabrics.  It's 40, which I avoid, and just like hating to cut linen, I hate to stitch on it when it's this fabulous.

I also ordered several linens from 123.  I really like that they offer such small pieces.  Sometimes it's all you need (no need to take scissors to the linen!) and a good way to test out linen colors without buying a large piece.  Some I've ordered before and it seems I stick to the same colors, but did add a few newbies.  Belfast Charcoal is very close to the blue I dyed for the Fox.  WDW linen is gorgeous but too soft for me, so I only buy colors I can't live without.  And I'm not crazy about the hand dyed with lots of variations.  Damn.  I forgot to add Copper Penny.  Oh well, too late.  The order is being delivered today.  Haven't chosen a new project.  Been too crabby and disgusted.  Soon.

Enjoy your weekend. Be safe.

I love 1-2-3!! They send out your orders superfast and I too, love that they offer small pieces. I use them for my necklaces and I don't have to cut into a beautiful piece of hand-dyed linen....nothing good to say from my end either...but I enjoyed your post, Marly!

Pretty! Prayer. Lots and lots of prayer. And turn off the tube sometimes. It is just good to turn it off and get away from it sometimes.

Your Dames of the Needle linen is TDF! I am so jealous!

I love 123 Stitch! Without a LNS, it's a great way to try different linens. Not only do they sell small cuts, they are wonderful about returns.

Beautiful linen. I like trying the small cuts too from 123. I actually thought at first that you were upset about your linen. Took my thick head a bit to get the gist.

Beautiful fabric. I will have to look into the charcoal you mentioned. I am a big fan of gray-blue tones. I haven't tried 40 ct. I'm afraid my eyes are just too old for that.

I like 123 for the small cuts too. Those colors remind me of raspberry sherbet!

You'll have a lot of good choices for linen to stitch on. 123 stitch is a great place for ordering linen.

I, too, like the small cuts of linen from 123 Stitch especially when computer monitors display colors differently. A stitching friend loves Weeks linens and used spray starch to stiffen it up.
