Sale starts .......

Friday?  Saturday.  I just read that shipping rates are going up on the 17th, again, affecting all packages and Priority rates also.   Decided to sell these now, do not want to store until next Christmas, my brother has even more boxes .... and boxes ..... of stitchery.  I may go through them in a few days after he chooses his favorites.

I'm not sure if I will adjust the round pillow or leave it alone.  Nothing needs done to these three which are so beautifully stitched and finished.  It feels like there is a base form in the weighted bottoms.

I will try to take better photos but it's hard to get all the details because of their size. Hopefully posting them tomorrow so if anyone is interested they can take a better look.

Carole had a brief period of time where she was able to get a few sentences out before the cough took over.  Between the steroid injection and the double dose of pills, her glucose shot up to 582 and she was getting faint, so she took several of her diabetes (type2) meds to lower it but that was hours ago.  She's down to 380, the injection didn't help much, and she is monitoring her levels every half hour.  We already knew how steroids affect glucose levels and was surprised that the informational paperwork with the meds did not warn of this.

Here's the newest desktop calendar from Circa Home Living's blog.

We have pretty nasty winds today and I heard some states had major damage.
 Hope everyone is OK!

See ya later.

Good to hear that Carole got a few minutes respite at least.

That wind! Listening to it roar around outside right now (along with the snow) and it's enough to make one a bit anxious - supposed to have gusts up to 50 here tonight! Think I'll pull the covers up over my head....

I vote to leave the round pillows 'as is' (authentic/vintage!). Can't wait!

Carole seems to have more than her share of troubles. Hope she is better soon. That cough thing going around is wicked! No snow here but bitter cold!

Thankfully no snow in northern Ohio but high winds here, too.
Hope Carole's levels can get down soon. Very scary.
Hugs :)

Marly: I am so sorry Carol is having a time of this cough, you are such a sweet lady to make sure she is taken care of.
I am looking forward to seeing what you have on sale tomorrow.
Did you or one of your family members stitch these things?

Blessings
Catherine

Wish I could help take care of Carol for you to get a break! Cool santas but I don't think I would buy another person's cross stitch work. I bet that sounds weird to others. I am waiting to see about the linen though (Love your blog so much that I don't go to bed until I read it.)

Hi Marley, Hate to say this but people at my work have had the cough bug as you describe Carol's. It seems to drag on forever.

Came across a clever way to make lasagna. Use the no-cook noodles, alternate 4 of them with layers of your favorite sauce and cheeses and bake them in a loaf pan. Now why didn't I think of that? Great size for two.

Love the Santa's - so nicely finished and the new masthead on your blog landing page. Really showcases your beautiful work nicely. Take care and stay inside. It's 19F here tonight. Very cold for the Seattle area!

Thinking of you and keeping you and your family in my prayers. So sorry that Carole's health is so complicated. Don't know what she'd do without you.
Stay warm, cozy and healthy.

So sorry to hear your sister is not feeling well. I think she has really had her share of health issues! It's so hard to help a loved one who is sick.
The stitching is beautiful. The Santas are lovely

It doesn't seem right that one person should have so many health issues, Marly--you are such a blessing to her, that's for sure! I hope 2017 brings her better health and you a bit of a respite!

It's snowing ever so lightly here right now--am amazed at our lack of snow this winter!

These are lovely Marly! I know I have missed a lot popping in and out of blogland so, and I know that you said they were "recently" found by your brother in boxes.... Were these your mother's handiwork? If so, it is proof positive that the apple doesn't fall far from the tree....the workwormanship is impeccable...and the finishes so precise and professional.... In awe..... Robin
