Samplers, santas, and ....

Monroe.

One of Stacy Nash's new releases from her Animal Crackers series.  The cats are adorable too but I fell in love with Monroe first.  In case you haven't seen them, this is Theodore.
And for those of you that didn't see the mini basket limited edition I was unable to order, this is it from Country Stitches.

The tiny basket is a mini picnic basket with lid (actually a party/wedding favor), sold in sets of 6 or 8 online. I saw the medium size also locally which is 6"x4". I don't think I would like a padded lid on a larger basket, this is just so small and sweet. From what I've read on FB, they are all sold but maybe your local shop will be bringing a few home so check if you're interested.  Have no idea on pricing.

Patching ceiling drywall and measuring for crown moulding this weekend.
Hope yours is just as exciting.

Thanks for visiting.

Monroe is too cute! I love the cats, too. I'm not envying your crown moulding project. I've got one of my own that I've been putting off for over a year. I invent reasons to put it off! ;-) I hope yours turns out lovely.

Yes, I saw the Animal Crackers! Very, very cute! And you know I am hoping for a poodle right?! The tiny basket is right up my alley, but most likely not budget wise anyways.

Happy Sunday to you.

Why so "limited" when great interest is prevalent? I can imagine the frustration
in falling in love, wanting one, only to find "sold out".... So cute...

I don't think I've ever seen cross stitch made into little dolls! I love them both.

Beautiful stitching, Marly. You are really a fast stitcher...takes me forever just to do a small sampler! Glad I don't depend on stitching for a living!! Have a pleasant evening!!

Patching ceiling drywall - ugh! You have my sympathies as I know what a pain in the neck (truly) that is! We have an area in the back bedroom that must be done and just haven't been able to work ourselves up to it, so good for you!!!

Monroe is adorable. :)

I love the kitty pattern so much! Marmalade cats have been a part of my life for over 4 decades. The little mini basket is just adorable as well. You find the neatest specialties!

I fell in like with Theodore, his pants and his bag. He reminds of Mark Twain's Huck Finn a boy I would want to have at my house no matter the worry or misery he might bring. The tiny picnic basket is cute and could store a few nice things. I do not understand however that something could sell so fast that hardly anyone has time to even look for it. It does not seem good planning on the sellers part but perhaps I am only eating sour grapes. I do not need it at all! Have fun and I would love to see more pictures of your home. The glimpses are wonderful! You really are a designer!

Oh, I don't know the size of the top of the picnic basket but etsy has them, very small ones just as pictured but not painted.

You have the best taste in stitching!

wait till you get your theodore pattern he is the best and he has a pocket for your scissors on the back and a tiny heart. I got to share a room with him and the other crackers at market. While your stitching him you need to go and get kebbler frosted animal cookies they were made for this project and go down a treat! My suggestion only buy on bag or else....
