Just wanted to tell you that there are four boxes shown on the box page, and they will be for sale Saturday morning at 10 am. I probably will not post at that time so if you are interested, Saturday morning at 10 o'clock. OK? I don't want to upset anyone again.
The giveaway is going very well by using separate pages! I'll have to keep this in mind for future offers.
That's all. On fire from flash and anger. A good time to go outside in 20 degrees and burn papers. I don't have to worry about my hair getting singed this time. It's like menopause threw another switch and my wild hair is all of a sudden, flat, straight, soft, and yucky. What's next?
Some of you liked the brown jugs that were in the last post. Many of them have chips but several of my favorites are perfect. It's time to make some changes and I want them in rooms where I can see them often. Here's the collection.
My favorites are the two in the middle of the middle shelf, and the 3 gallon to the left of the basket.
We saw Ed a few days ago and he is too busy to come back anytime soon, so I'll just pick up the crown moulding and registers from the floor and move them elsewhere until after the holidays.
I'm finally starting a sampler tonight and have three four five in mind. Decisions, decisions. They range from very large to small. Small would be the better choice, but they are all kitted and ready.
Have a wonderful weekend and a safe Friday the 13th!
Thanks for taking time to visit.

I like your brown crocks, but I love your blog. Please keep up the inspiration and thanks so much.
They didn't make up the word, it comes from a documentary about rampant commercialism in our culture. Not that's a good reason for it. How is someone supposed to learn responsibility if they're not held accountable for their actions…again. Parents are one thing. Judges another. This sentence is outrageous. Money talks.
Horrifying and disgusting. Not you. ;)
Hmmm...somehow I wasn't paying attention to your crocks yesterday! I do like your display of them.
Have a great weekend, Marly!

I have a friend who is a lawyer who told me they have a saying that goes around the legal system:
" regarding capital punishment..,those with the capital don't get the punishment"
sad, but as proven by this sentencing, so true
Clearly I need to go turn on the news. Happily haven't watched much lately. I like your little brown jugs too. Did you drink what was in them? Annie L
Just googled Judge Judy Boyd and read an article about the case. Unbelievable. Why didn't the judge take this opportunity to start teaching that kid what the rest of us learned in kindergarten. Annie L
I'm so out of touch -- don't know what the news story is that you're talking about. I get so frustrated by the news these days that I tend to avoid it. Which I know isn't good. It scares me, though -- I happened to see a headline that said a honeymooning couple killed someone just for the fun of it? OMG. Same sort of thing you're talking about. Different but the same.
Love your brown jugs and crocks, the cupboard is awesome too!
I don't want to be an ostrich but I generally don't watch the news or read it. WE get only what the local stations want us to see/hear anyway. THAT makes me crazy! And it's all about sensationalism... how ANGRY can we make people? But I digress... going to go look at the boxes. :)
My DH and I were talking and fussing about that same case! We can't believe it!!!! I'm with Magee, I'm ready to crawl into a hole and stay there! The news gives me fits. Anyway , I love your brown jugs. They look so pretty in that cupboard.
A very nice way to display the jugs and to see them often is to enjoy them more.
Affluenza...really!!! The whole thing is quite sad. Love the brown crock display. Have a nice weekend.

I heard about this sentence ( if you could call it that). As the mother of , well used to be teen age boy, I would have wanted to help my son. But I would have also known he needed punishment. People died, this was no unavoidable accident...perhaps the parents should do the jail time, they seems responsible, driving at 13...where did he get the alcohol? Like you the older I get the more angry and amazed at the world I become. That being said... I am happy I ordered a little box.
I am still shaking my head at "affluenza". Now you will have people trying to claim "middleclassamania" and "poorphrenia" as excuses. According to one article, this wasn't even his first time being caught up in something. So sad.....
On another note ~ I love your brown jugs! Beautiful display!
I too love the brown crocks. Such simple pieces with so much history! ~Roberta
Agree 100% with your outrage over the Affluenza verdict. What a joke. It sure seems that the concept of being responsible for ones actions is missing in society today.
