Happy Easter

Kielbasa in my Polish grandmother's dish, cwikla in Mom's.
I always use a serving dish of those to be remembered for holidays.  Aunt Nancy's compote dish has the fruit salad.  Wishing everyone a peaceful and joyous Easter.

Thinking today of the latest 148 young people killed in Kenya, because of their Christian belief, and all the others brutally murdered before them.  There is no peace for those being persecuted.

Peace, joy and blessings to you and your family on this Easter Sunday and everyday.
We are all so blessed to live in this country of ours, even with all the "stuff" going on.

Easter Blessings to you as well. My FIL was Polish and I continue to serve his favorite foods on the Polish dishes in his honor. I understand these traditions and they hold our family together. Beautiful memories that enhance our celebrations!

Blessed Easter greetings Marly and family.
So true, we need to pray for the lives lost for their beliefs.

Happy Easter

A great post for Easter. I thought of those college students today too.

I hope your Easter was wonderful Marly.
I too thought on the many, many Christian martyrs these days.

Hope your Easter was delightful... it certainly looks like you had a delicious meal! I think those who have been persecuted for their faith (both past and present) have peace, with God. It is their prosecutors who do not and will not have peace until they come to believe.
