Once again,

thank you for all your help and suggestions.  She has tried a few products including Theraworks and Hyland's leg cramp pills, both of which did help.  For a brief period of time.  She is scheduled for blood work this week and the doc does not want her taking any supplements or vitamins until he sees what her mineral levels are after the massive diuretics so she can't take the mag pills.  Protein drinks, bananas, avocado, tonic water and a few other natural remedies aren't changing the intensity.  Doc is OK with electrolyte drinks to help but that's all until after the results.  I will order the topical Amish remedy on Amazon and give it a try along with the soap.  The cramps have become secondary to insomnia.  Now she can't sleep at all!  She said her entire upper body feels like restless leg syndrome and she can't settle.  This happened before and Valerian helped, Melatonin helped, but she still needs clearance before taking so hopefully that will happen next week.

Tomorrow I am staying home all day.  No Meals on Wheels delivery to Carole.  I bought plenty of excellent frozen dinners that prepare in 10 or 15 minutes in one pan, and she is certainly well enough for a quick and simple task.  Bertolli's Chicken Carbonara is SO good along with other complete meals in minutes.  Maybe I'll send Mark out to find a produce stand with corn.  My favorite is Bodacious but August was busy and we missed the entire harvest.  First summer I didn't have cob corn twice a week.  Instead, I ate more chocolate and gained another 8#.  Whoa Nelly!  Time to pull back.

Before the season is over, this is for Miss Vickie the Pink Queen.

I plan to sell sampler charts and linen soon, any suggestions?  Should I offer them here, Ebay, or a FB stitching group?

  Happy Labor Day folks!!

Sure hope something helps Carole. it is no fun being up half of the night or worse all night! Pink flowers are beautiful. How about selling here or on ebay? I don't even know about the Facebook group. Please let us know when and how you decide to do it. You have some great charts.

Tell Carole that I can totally relate to her issue with the feeling in her upper body. I get it some nights and it's awful, you end up tossing and turning and don't know what to do with yourself. It's a very unpleasant feeling. I've tried to eliminate certain things from my diet to see if it helps. Of all the things I've found the worst culprit seems to be barley malt extract. It's in a whole lot of foods including breakfast cereals and biscuits.

So sorry that Carole is having such a time with her health. I pray that soon there will be an answer or solution and she will feel much better and you too.
Your flowers/patio are beautiful. All I have now are black eyed susies and zinnias.......mostly yellow. Oh and my sedum....it's pink now.
Take care and have a relaxing Labor day.
Thoughts and prayers,

Poor Carole! I hope she finds relief soon. Good that you are taking a break day. You have to take care of yourself too, not just everyone else.

Your flowers look great, Marly. I am praying that Carole gets some relief soon. Perhaps you should offer your charts/linens here. I would think it would be less hassle.

Love all your pink flowers of course!!😊 Our village has huge baskets on the old fashioned light posts and they are filled with a variety of pink supertunias.😍
I bet you would sell your charts and linens on here fast and WITHOUT the fees of ebay!

I do hope you enjoy your day at home today, Marly--a very well deserved rest, I'd say! Sure hope Carole gets a break one of these days--it is just one thing after another for her.

Love your pink arbor at night--just beautiful!

I've been thinking about selling some charts, too, and plan on doing it on my blog--think that would be easiest for me :)

Hope September cools off soon and you get time to enjoy it...

Hope through the process of elimination that the cause of
Carole's discomfort can be found. Rest is so vital to her
healing... No laboring today, Marly. Feet up on the pink
patio and veg out...you have certainly earned it. I can
see your stash being sold out right here on your blog..
without the extra hassle and expense of other options....
Have a blessed day...

Your taste in cross stitch is wonderful. I would love it if you'd try selling your charts here first.

Sorry to hear of Carole's continued issues, you certainly have your hands full! I happen to think chocolate is the cure for all the ills of the world, so yeah, would work for me! I think you should sell your charts here, why pay fees to ebay, I personally love all your work, so anything should sell fast. Prayers sent for continued healing.

Sorry to hear of Carole's leg cramps. I get them too and I know how annoying they can be at night. I think selling here or ebay is fine.

P.S. Your patio is beautiful, I would love to spend time stitching there.

I have no suggestions on something to take that won't interfere with Carol's tests. When I find I can't sleep, due to pains or whirling mind, I find that having something else to focus on helps. Music on the radio, TV, etc. Something that doesn't take too much attention, isn't stressful. The downside of the TV is the light sometimes doesn't help, depending on if I lay facing the TV or not. I wish it had an "audio only" setting. I hope once the tests are done, something is found to help Carol's sleeping.

Lovely patio !! I think selling charts on your website or Etsy ? I enjoy following your blog and it would be a one stop shop ! Take care, Pam

I hope after receiving the results of the blood work that some help can be found for Carole - I'm so sorry. And I hope you had a good restful day at home. You have me craving corn on the cob now! We usually eat all the summer vegetables but somehow missed corn.
