Hard to do sometimes.
You can't hold up heavy pots, hooks to hold them in position, and a long board, while stretching over a sink and counter. Laying the project out on a table is a different perspective.
We both thought if the board was longer, the pots would be too far apart and look like something was missing. Not sure. I'm transferring this photo to the old Paint program so I can manipulate it to show a longer board. Hubs said to hang the copper plates on the bare sides. Again, not sure. But not what I expected. Cutting and staining another board is not a major job.
The last week of summer is upon us.
Dammit.

I love how you work on a problem until you find what you are really looking for, Marly. You have a great eye! Do you have a third copper pot? Maybe one in the middle and one on the wall portion on either side?
I agree with Carol. if these two larger pots were moved over to be centered above each window and a third placed in the middle it would be more balanced and pleasing to the eye. - Terri

Hmmmm...I probably shouldn't say what I initially saw. ;-) (But, yes...I'm certain you will bring it together perfectly eventually)
How about a plate on either side or a hook with a bundle of dried flowers or herbs?
