We'll see how this goes! I've been a mono stitcher since I started.
My peeps and I enjoyed a snack this morning. That silver tube on the bird feeder shepherd's hook is very effective in preventing climbers. It is that cheap vent pipe that comes apart, put the two sides over the pole and bend the seam over to close. Not a problem since. We have dozens of squirrels this year.
When the poults run it reminds me of that scene in Jurassic Park.
Tomorrow is flosstube day and I can't believe two weeks have already passed since watching my favorites.
Still feeling weak and weird, can't get in for another two weeks, heart angio scheduled for September. Would be nice to test my reaction to the dye beforehand so I know if I will again have a problem, but they never do that.
No landscaper, still no ramp. Husband could do it if he has guidelines and specs, but we've done enough and his shoulders, knees, and back are not for lease. I understand how backed up projects are for these contractors, but I hired the landscape company last fall after the sewer project tore up my yard. He was to come out early spring, but small jobs aren't top priority I guess.
Enjoy your weekend.
p.s. Gail - not sure but Spools linen may be leftover Oatmeal (Colour and Cotton) from Petite.

I like your family of turkeys! We used to have wild ones around here, but haven't seen them in years. I'm still debating the next sampler and I need to figure it out and order linen. Your latest choices are very nice. I'm debating The Red Deer by Gigi R and All Was For An Appil by the Scarlet Letter. Both large pieces. I also have Charlotte Clayton which I love because of the cats. I'll figure it out, but right now it is too hot and humid to do anything!
I'll be interested to see how you enjoy multiple projects, Marly! I just can't deal with more than one small and one large going at once. It makes me anxious :)
Love seeing your turkey family. Ours hasn't been spotted this year at all--perhaps they wandered up your way!
Sorry you are still not feeling quite right and I hope the appointment in September offers some answers. You take care now! ♥
I used to be a monogamous stitcher/hooker/puncher (but COULD have one of each of those going and usually did). I threw caution to the wind some time ago and am equivocal about it. It allows me to not become bored (but that usually wasn't a problem anyway) and now I get frustrated that I seem to never actually "finish" anything. I am such a slow stitcher (and hooker and puncher...and final finisher) so it probably wasn't the best decision to make. Sorry to hear you are still feeling funky...sure hope you get some answers and a plan to resolve issues. ~Robin~
It's been a few months since I saw the turkeys wander through our yard. I hope they are happy elsewhere, that they didn't get hit by bird flu this spring. Haven't they decided birds are super-close related to, if not actually, dinosaurs?
I have several patterns from Winds of Autumn kitted up. I ran out of floss when I was nearly finished stitching the first one :-( now I'm concerned about floss quantities for the rest. His Eye Is On the Sparrow is also kitted and ready to stitch, but I still haven't started yet. I think I'm a bit afraid of the size, the 40 count linen, and the pattern seems a bit small to read. Even though I have multiple patterns kitted, I'm still stitching only one at a time.
Thank you for the linen info, I've added it to my shopping list.
