Ebay listing

Hello everyone.  I wanted to let you know that I listed the charts this evening and you can find them HERE.  My EBay seller name is early-works.
I received my two new sampler charts today and here they are.
I continue having problems with Lucy.  Twice I've come across a linen thread that was thick and fuzzy and when I removed the fuzz, the thread was broken.  I raveled a thread from the linen edge and wove it in and you really can't tell at all that there was a break.  Hopefully, the worst is over, and I am on the bottom houses and floral now.
I stopped at the antique mall today (which has extremely few primitives) and I brought home a nicely rusted and larger oil can for a sewing project, and a wooden spool that I can run hemp through and hang a stitched piece from.    On my stairs, I always hang baskets from the handrail brackets to hold the multitude of crap that needs to be taken up while keeping the steps cleared.  Somewhat.  So I asked Mark if he would make a hook for me that hangs two ways.  Voila.  When the hook on the bottom goes at an angle from the top one, it doesn't balance correctly since the weight is offside.  Once a basket is on it, the weight hangs it straight.  I have one on every bracket and told him to make a few that I can sell when I start Etsy-ing.  That large blue jar on the step is one of several that I've had for many many years.  Not sure what's in it anymore!  I used to purchase fixatives, drieds, and oils for potpourri that I sold at the stitchery shop.  Our linens sure smelled good!  I believe these pretty looking rocks in the jar are a fixative (not orris root) but I can't remember the name.
I'm done.  Had a few days of not being up to par but all is well now and I plan on getting as much done as I can because, I'll say it again, I can't wait to be done with this project.
Enjoy the rest of your week and stay safe.
Thank you so much for your visits!

The basket on the steps is very clever. My steps always have junk on them to go upstairs. Love your new samplers!

I like your two new samplers. Ms Pomroy has come up in conversation recently with someone, but can't remember who. Nice hook for the baskets too! Very useful! So when are you going to start etsying?

Wonderful new stash. It sounds like Lucy is coming along. You need to finish her up so you can start one of these new ones. Why is it that we are always looking for the next project?
Love the new antique finds.
Have a great Thursday:)

Good luck with the sale Marly, they are all lovely!
Eliza & Elize are beautiful samplers, look forward to seeing them soon lol.
Hanging your basket is a wonderful idea, I use a basket on the stair itself, so we can break our neck I am told!

Marly,
Cool hook. Mark did a wonderful job. I would love one if you ever start to sell them.
You made my day about the stuff on the stairs. I often wonder if others do that to. I've never hear anyone admit it because one always wants that stuff picked up when company comes.
Sorry you are having problems with Lucy. I have never had the linen broken on my when I remove the slubs. If it ever happens I will remember you and your technique for fixing it. Thanks. Enjoy your week too.

I really love those two new samplers that you picked up.

And I love your idea of hanging a basket at the bottom of the stairs. I need to do that. With two kids, you can only imaging the junk that accumulates down stairs.

Love the two new sampler additions. I've come across many fuzzy threads, but fortunately never found the thread broken. What a pain. :( I'm looking forward to seeing what you do with your antique finds. :) Love the basket idea too. Glad you are feeling better!

Hi Marley, love your hanging basket. What a great idea. Your oil cans are really lovely and I can also see birds sitting on top of the them. I also like your 2 new samplers. Eliza Jane will go so well with your other ones. Good luck with ebay - Sandra.

Rats....missed your Ebay listings....they must have been quick ones.. Sigh - nothing quick about this crow these days. Sweet new charts....I love everything Eliza....I just got a new antique one - done by a little girl named Nancy Burley - she had a wee bit of dyslexia me thinks....It's SOOO sweet. I love your oil can too - and how I wish I had steps like that for baskets - what a clever idea. We have a circular staircase and it's a pain in the bum.....no place to sit - let alone hang - a basket.....Hope all is well....Robin
