Snow day

Hello hello.  Spent the day at the hospital yesterday and all can be treated.

This white crap started earlier yesterday but got heavy overnight.  Think today will be a snow day and I will browse stash for another project.

What's on this one's mind for today?  Hang around the house as always, but no touching!  I have enough tops that she has ruined with those little claws.  Still cute, still vicious.  Can't wait until spring and they are out of the house.  For as long as we have taken care of them, you would think the wild would have subsided.  Budman has softened, but not this little girl.  Nitzy is .... well .... still Nitzy.
When I picked up the chair, I stopped at the other Pat Catan's and found no boxes.  They had a shipment and it flew off the shelves.  They told me they've never had demand like this, even though the quality has declined and prices gone up.  Michael's has acquired the Pat Catan chain but supposedly will keep it separate.  I seriously doubt that they will not eventually merge the stores since they offer the same.  Our's does very well since it is the only craft store of this area, and prices are reasonable without coupons, lower than Michael's.

Enjoy your day.

Was the hospital visit for you or someone else? I am glad whatever the problem is that it can be treated.

Oh the look on her face. My mom's cat is over a year old now. But is still sorta wild. It was a stray's kitten they took in.

Calico cats are beautiful, but why do they all have that "evil" look on their face. I have a calico " Aggie" I step back when she looks at me like that. Did you see recently a college did a small study recently about calico cats. They discovered what we have know for ages...Calico cats have attitude! Glad hospital visit went well.

Happy the hospital visit went well. I will just skim right past the snow picture. :) And you are so kind to care for your little brood of furry ones. It is a shame Nitzy can't be more appreciative - she is pretty, though.

I know that with Mia, I can't keep a nice quilt on my bed. If I do, it's eventually torn to shreds. I miss having a nice quilt out. Oh well.

Love that kitty. You are such a good Mom. Never heard of
Catans. I thought Michaels was having problems last year. Glad they are not
Going out of business.

That's a beautifully composed photo of Nitzy with the basket on the wall, cross stitch in the wood carrier etc. She LOOKS like an angel.
Your photos show how well the cats are taken care of. Bless you and your husband. Looking forward to seeing what your next stitch will be.

That Nitzy does look like a snarly one, eh? I've known a few like that... ;-) Pretty pic...but would it be horribly rude to say better you than me? As if -25 wasn't torture enough...it's supposed to "warm up" and snow Sunday. How'd I get so dang lucky to live here. Glad to hear the hospital visit was a "non-event"? ~Robin~
