The kind of cat that rips into your flesh. Upstairs, on the bed, under the bed, on the sofa, on my linen, in the closet, in the basement, and now.....on my dining room table.
My sinuses are pounding and I want them outside where well fed, de-flea'd, spoiled rotten feral cats with condo units should be. She wants to be outside but also wants to come in. Outside, she is always with a mouse or mole which upsets me. But she was/is wild and that was necessary for her to survive. Bud won't leave the house and sleeps 24/7. Evening they all come in for a canned meal and then retire to the safety of their garage set up with 6 different dry foods for the night. But it's still cold and wet here, requiring a jacket! So most of the day .....

She hangs on the Magma most of the time but I am trying to stitch a little every evening. Not using the hoop for her since she is thin and easily hand held. I am neither of those.
Refusing to go up another size, I purchased my new cropped boyfriend jeans in the old size and told the sales clerk they will fit 10 pounds from now. I need to take off 35. My 13 years older sister is heavy, and driving my yellow car. When she drove away from my house the other day, my neighbor waved to her while walking her dog. Carole stopped the car and said to her "I just wanted you to know that Marlene hasn't aged 10 years and gained 50 pounds, I'm her sister and she gave me her car." Marylou started laughing hard and between her brisk walking and that laughter, I was thinking ..... minipad.
That's all folks. Steak on the grill tonight followed by
I stocked up again. The bags are kept in old kitchen cabinets in the basement but the chocolate covered Snack Factory Dark Chocolate Crunch Pretzel Crisps are in the kitchen. They are asking for protection from hostile takeover and want to join up with Dove, but my embassy hasn't approved that yet.
Enjoy the week's end!
Thanks for visiting.

Your sister is hilarious! :D
Dark Chocolate Pretzel Crisp???? Where do you get that? Mary Spinney is looking good. Enjoy the rest of the week, Marly!
Your sister is as funny as you are! Damn cats always do the complete opposite regardless what position you take. Clarice drives me bonkers all the time and only wants to sit in my lap if I'm stitching. Rest of the time can't even bribe her to sit with me.
I feel your size 10 pain. I too need to lose 25+ pounds. I was refusing to go up a size until this past week when I found black jeans that fit in two different sizes. Since the price for each was just $9 at the outlet store Hubby said buy both. I did. Good luck with the kitties. I love the colors on Mary Spinney
I still say chocolate is cheaper than a therapist! I never met a chocolate I didn't love. I could live off of chocolate and coffee. I think boyfriend jeans are the greatest design, if some skinny person doesn't decide to redesign them next year.
The acorn doesn't fall too far from the tree, does it? Thanks for the laugh.
Hugs :)
Lauren
I think I gained 5 pounds looking at your chocolate stash! Mary Spinney is looking good. Feral cats? We have some in the neighborhood who are fed by neighbors. They look just as good as my own 4 who are indoor cats, fat and sassy!
Love Mary Spinney. Colors are marvelous. When you said short rows, I immediately started thinking in terms of knitting (there are short rows in knitting, yes). Very confusing!!
Kitties are hard to control. I guess that's because they think THEY are in control...
But they sure do photograph looking sweet!
Love the jeans story--I have clothes all different sizes. How does that happen?
Mary is very pretty! I really love the fabric color. A little salty, a little sweet, chocolate pretzels are delicious! Any form of chocolate is delicious!
Bless your sweet heart, Marly. It's good to read a more cheerful post from you.
Don't you know that kitties are the boss in anyone's home. Our two surely are, especially our little girl kitty. Missy and Bud are so blessed to be treated so royally in your home.
I have loved the colors in your "Mary" from the start. They seem very cheerful.
Carole sounds like she has a sense of humor similar to yours. She's blessed, too, to have you as her sibling. I hope she will be feeling well this weekend. The weather is supposed to be nice in Va. Hope it will be the same in Pa.
Enjoy your chocolate no matter which form it comes in.
Hugs,
Charlotte in Va.
Morning, boy you two are so funny, love sister's!!!!!! Blessings Francine.
you slay me….still laughing.

Love Mary. Love Carole too. Love Dove. Love chocolate covered pretzels!
Here's the thing. You MUST have more willpower than you think if the chocolate was around long enough to be photographed. I'd be taking pictures of empty plastic bags - not kidding...
Now that's a stash I love!
Marly, It is still cold and raining her in RI, I am sitting all curled up like the cats....can you blame them for wanting to be indoors. One of my cats is right now in MY stitching chair! Luckily I am going to do some errands so she can stay for now. Cats love wing chairs!
I've never known anyone to die from eating chocolate. :) Cats - had one for 13 years and loved him fiercely. But my son was so allergic he couldn't walk into my house until he'd taken a benedryl. We have a neighbor who has many cats that are "yard cats" except they use the flower beds of the next door neighbors as a litter box. They have started cleaning out their beds and throwing it all on the owner's doorsteps. This isn't going to end well I'm afraid. blessings, marlene
Cats will do as they please...at least that's what mine have always told me...the shelf behind kitty filled with samplers is just killing me...I love it so...hugs to your sister, she is so lucky to have you...
Marly, you and I have a lot in common - stitching, samplers, Dove Dark Chocolate and Snack Factory Dark Chocolate Pretzel Crisps (Did you know Costco carries a large bag?). Is there a "Chocoholic's Anonymous yet for us addicts?
What's NOT to love here? DOVE chocolate -- yummy!! The Mary project is coming along nicely, and your humor always brings a chuckle! I haven't stitched in a while here...been busy, traveling or preparing to.. or catching up afterwards...maybe tomorrow! Hugs!
