What a nutzy day. Tomorrow morning it will continue, but my insurance agent is awaiting my call before 9pm about changing to an advantage plan. Having to pay the $233 Medicare deductible and $480 prescription deductible frosts my wide rear. It just does. And I might add, my weight loss during covid has returned and brought at least another eight friends along. All of our friends are on the advantage plans and have no complaints. Half hour countdown, like I need more stress.
Carole is not herself, slurring a little, confused, I'm hoping anxiety is the cause and will subside after the surgery. If the pain doesn't allow her leg to hang even after the below knee amputation, she will be livid and I don't blame her. Think positive. But I need to calm down first.
I haven't chosen a chart to pack yet, the day was wasted on things needing done for my helpless family members, all online issues and searches. And then there's the brats. They must be locked in the house, I have my brother coming ONCE a day which is fine except for Petey. He sits at the door looking in at the others and it breaks my heart he can't come in, but it's impossible. We're buying a heated water dish tomorrow for him, it's very cold and icing solid. I hope the racoons don't take all the food.

You choose the bulb, cool white or warm white, they are brown wire but I'm sure they are offered elsewhere in green. The faceted glass are from GE long ago, the newer ones are acrylic and LED but I can't say the old style is not available. I just haven't found them which is why I am hoarding.
Thank you for the suggestion Cherie. Absolutely! Our services are very short staffed but will definitely check.
I will update after surgery.
Be well, be safe, thank you all.

Your stress level must be off the chart. I know mine would be.
Your cross stitch is lovely. Such a sweet pattern.
Prayers and hugs for all.
Have a safe trip. Keeping you all in my thoughts and prayers.
I hope your trip is calm - no unexpected mishaps or expenses, and that Carole's surgery goes well. Try not to worry about Petey, he'll learn fast to be there when the food is put out, and eat then. He survived somehow before finding you, he'll be OK for a few days. It's not like you are moving away permanently.
Marly: I am so sorry you are having problems, and yesterday was the last sign-up day for Medicare, we have Blue Cross Blue Shield, we love it 2000. deductable we pay with Mikes first month of Repatha, then no bills for the rest of the year, 2.00 dollar prescriptions, I hope you find the perfect plan.
Please have a safe trip, I hope Carole's surgery goes without an problems, she is lucky to have a sister like you, you are a Blessing to her.
Poor Petey, I wish he could be indoors.
You are lucky to have a brother to help you out with the cats in the house, are they hard on Petey? just curious.
Prayers sent your way for you and Carole, I hope Carole can come home for Christmas, it would be a Blessing.
Merry Christmas
Catherine
You’re welcome, Marly! I feel so bad for Carole, and for you and Mark taking care of her. My mom was in a wheelchair the last year or so, and the transport service was a life-saver for me! Cherie in WI
Well, I am late in my visits and know you won't see this before you leave, but know that I will be praying for you and Carole and sending the best thoughts. As for the medicare/insurance, another topic you don't want me to go off about. We have a separate plan to cover what medicare doesn't, another for prescriptions and yet another for dental/hearing (all for "him"....I'm not of age yet) all of which I diligently researched before committing keeping in mind his particular "issues." Well, his last 4-wk stint in the hospital through me for a loop.... Yes, most of the hospital charges were covered (eventually...after many phone calls), but the prescriptions are a kick in the gut every other day when I have to go get another batch. Hope whatever decision you made it will end up being the best one for you. ~Robin~
Poor Petey, my dog can't stay out below 22 degrees, he starts limping, it's too hard, too cold on his feet. Hope things improve quickly, nothing worse than dealing with insurance and medical.
Hope all went well today with the sergery for Carole.
Your family has found a angel in you Marly, because you are doing so much for them and your own healt is not what it should be!!!
Hope you will be save home when redding this.
Take care and sending prayers every day for you and Carole.
Lots of love and a big hug, Truus from Holland
I've been thinking about you and Carole all day, Marly. Sure hope the surgery went well and that Carole is calmer now--at least a bit. I can't even imagine the stress and anxiety you all are experiencing. Sending prayers and hugs ♥
