to a warm sunny day.
Yesterday was a disaster, ending with my arthritic hand losing grip on a glass container. The tiny shards were even twelve feet away.
Today started early with my last vein treatment 40 minutes from home. Would I make it back for Carole's cardiology appointment at 10:30? Would we have time to get to the store there for cannoli shells and jumbo pasta shells? Yes and yes! The cannoli shells were on clearance for $2 since the expiration date was today. Not a problem since they will be filled and frozen tomorrow. Not only was everything in perfect step, we didn't wait long for the exam, followed by on time pacemaker check, and everyone was very pleased with her checkup! Called for transport, came in 5 minutes, we left, hubs had time to get ready for golf. She is back home pleased with her results, hubs is headed to the course, I am sitting in quiet having an iced coffee and enjoying the sunshine. Thankful, peaceful day.
Hung my fridge tree....
worked on Joyeux last night ...
played with a box display.
Since ornaments were not retrieved for display this year, I don't have the baubles to add to the box. And the stitcheries all have hangers attached, not keen on removing them right now. This was just playtime, trying to decide which designs would be best.
I plan to just relax this afternoon, run the squeegee on my windows, do some stitching, and try Paulette's mystery chicken enchiladas for dinner.
Hoping your day will be as positive as mine!

whew.... now that is what we pray for.... a day without incident... So glad that you,
Carole and Hubs are in the groove and that you have time to rest and "play"... I just
love that Christmas tree...(pattern?) and your new project is really coming along.
Continue on in peace, dear heart......
So happy today is much better than yesterday!
Your box display looks so sweet.
Golfing on December 8th is just so wrong. I LOVE IT!!! I raked leaves. Normally I just mow but I thought raking would be better...and I hate to rake. Finished putting greens outside and got my sleds out. I am going to call it done ;-)
Marly you are overdue for a day like today where the fates align just right. I’m happy for you;dear lady.
Marly, you deserve this day! I love your current stitching, so simple and pretty. And, your box looks perfect as is, but I know I’d be tweaking that all the way to Christmas! Have a wonderful weekend! Cherie in WI
So glad you had a hitch-less day! You of all people deserve them. Stitching lovely! Jen
What a wonderful, marvelous day for you! Finally!! Your stitching is so pretty - for me it is very soothing just to look at your stitching. I have not picked up a needle in several weeks...maybe soon I hope.
So happy to hear that all went well and everyone was happy afterwards.
You deserve more of these days Marly.
Love your stitching-- simple but beautiful. And your display with the Santa's and deer is great, but I know you will change it before it is Christmas. 😁
The Christmas tree on the fridge is gorgeous.
Have a peaceful weekend and enjoy your stitching,Truus from Holland
