Already in love

More stitching in the borders than I like but I love this baby red sampler.

I was finally given results of my echo done in December.  There was no report filed, and the hospital being sold caused a real issue.  But the cardio office went to the old (previous) system's program found on a laptop and was able to retrieve the images.  There will be no dialog or report and I trust the doctor that viewed them in absence of a radiologist.  Very relieved to hear they felt it was normal.  That's a term that seldom refers to me.

The upper body osteo surgeon is seeing me in a week regarding my right arm and hand, still can't move my ENT appointment for vertigo up from August.  I call every two days checking for cancelations.  They did refer me to a PT office, no vestibular therapist locally but they send all patients to this one facility.

I am still looking for a surgeon willing to work on my extruded two tear meniscus.  Trying to correct that before agreeing to a total knee replacement sounds reasonable but they don't bother with that here.

So that's the medical minutes report for today!

March is quickly leaving isn't it?  Seems like it just arrived.

Be safe folks.

Happy that the long awaited results of the echo were positive.
So sorry about the other problems. This growing old is NOT for sissies.
Oh how I love red samplers and you are off to a great start 😊

That red sampler is just beautiful Marly. So glad you finally received the positive results from your echo. Sorry about your other issues...wish you could get the medical care you need now...rather than waiting months (my friend in Delaware has the same issue - can't even get in to see her primary for 9+ months!!).

I'm SO glad the echocardiogram was found and your doctor sees no issues. It's about time you had a bit of good news. Hope you get the PT appointment moved up, & that you find someone who's willing to try something other than going right to knee replacement.
I'm glad you are really enjoying the little sampler!

Your tiny red sampler is looking good, Marly. I'm glad the echo was deemed 'normal' or no issues. I am sorry you have to go through all this medical junk.

Awww...that lil' sampler is going to be adorable. Yay for the good news on the echocardiogram results but what the heck with the other stuff. :-( Good luck with the knee thing. When I fell down my circular stairs and messed everything up (torn ACL, torn VMO, broken tibia), they were hesitant to do surgery given my age (mind you, this was 7 years ago already) but agreed since they felt I was "active enough." I ultimately decided against the surgery since the only thing they could correct was the ACL and they said most of my pain and other issues were from the other issues.). Anyways...hope you find resolution for that and the osteo and ENT issues. You've really been through the wringer.

Hi Marly: Good to hear that your test was normal. Love this Sampler and the thread color is a beautiful choice. I had one doctor tell me I had a torn meniscus, then went to another, all I has was bursitis, used Voltaren cream, pain gone in one week, I hope you can get another opinion.

Marly, So glad you were finally able to get some results of the echocardiogram and it was good news from someone you trust. As for the other stuff, what a shame that this is what our healthcare system has become. We have to keep plugging away and that’s stressful, too! Good luck with it all. I love your red sampler, too! So cute and bravo to you for doing 46 ct.! And, yes, March sure is slipping away quickly! Now, if only we could get the snow to go, once and for all! Take care, Cherie in WI

You so deserve to have some good medical news, Marly! Glad the echo was normal. Mine in December showed some issues, unfortunately. UGH! I hate this getting old stuff and the health problems it brings. Love your red sampler start!
