It's time. Do I follow the dmc 814/902 or change for a brighter berry?
I have Needle Necessities overdyed red and it is what I'm leaning toward. The called for is on left.
How about keeping the 902 but changing to the brighter 815 with it (on left)? The overdyed may not show variations in such a small area so I would cut short pieces of varying shades. The red is like 498.
I just don't know if I would prefer the bright, or the rich deep.
And probably won't until tomorrow.

I'm no help...reds do me in. I think it's because I love them all (well, except for very pinky reds). The deeps are so rich, the burgandy-ish so regal, and the brights so cheery. I know you'll decide perfectly howevere.

Since Holly Berries and Winter Berries always look bright to me, I would go with a bright. Lovely stitching Marly.
You always choose the right color. I myself prefer the 815,but it could be too bright in this case.
You could try the colors on a small piece ....

Deep and Rich seems more your style to me than the bright. Just my two cents...........
