Sometimes,

I needed to force myself to choose another project quickly or I wouldn't be stitching.  Sometimes has become always.  I have green fabric, thinking about doing this guy, again avoiding the full coverage (green background).

That gorgeous amethyst color I dyed on 40 count will be used for one of these pears, with pastel threads.  Until I change my mind, these three will be on strong colored fabric.

This is also considered, same thing, dark fabric and change to pastel threads.

You know I avoid borders and am only stitching smaller projects, so the center only is high on the list.

Question .... about selling charts.

I went back to previous posts and had very few interested in charts being given away, so selling?  The FB selling groups containing albums of charts (can't list each separately), seems to be a confusing task to message and invoice each request.  Instagram, a few at a time?  Or eBay where the buyer info is promptly listed for the seller?  Leaning toward eBay or IG.  Would prefer using 1st class postage instead of much higher tracking $$$, not recommended? Suggestions from those who have done this please!

We had rain for two days.  Finally.

Have a good day.

2025 Finish #22

I think she is Fang from the Big Eye Gang.

40 count dyed, dmc, face 471 and 580, border changed to black/ecru/351.

Boom.

Soon!

Just the border left.

I made the hat's brim thicker, changed the left side eye color, slightly changed the green of her face (471+ 580).

Have a good day, be safe.

2025 Finish #21

Fewer rows in the outline border, and for whatever the errors, he is more centered.  Happy with results.

Glad this project is finished!

That little PITA

Except for a few rows to add to the outline, he's done.  I added purple and a bowtie, a few changes to his clothes because I was weary, just did what I wanted.  And he's centered!  No idea how that happened, hard to count with these tiny stitches of hair-ish threads.

I now wish a larger finish was considered, maybe 30 or 32 count with two threads.  The three colorful characters in this chart would be great hanging on a door or cupboard knob.  I need to think about the other two and check sizing.

Back at the greenhouse, there are two fertilizers he recommends for petunia and calibrachoa, all flowering plants.  Both contain iron necessary for tunias.

I have used Miracle Grow Bloom Booster and also Jack's Bloom Booster, totally different ingredient ratios from these, iron not offered.  Strange that my MG booster box is 10-52-10 but online claims 15-30-15.  One ad shows both percentages in the same description.  I guess research would offer the correct one for each flower, but I'm lazy and will just take his advice.

Haven't decided on lung scan yet.  My neighbor was diagnosed with advanced lung cancer eight months after a clear CT scan.  The nodule was not there in January.  Sharp pain and feeling breathless led to the second scan.  There is a procedure called cryoablation, that can freeze small nodules and GGO while also obtaining a sample, killing the cancer, that otherwise are too small to biopsy.

Hope you have a pleasant day.
