Morning spin

Yep.  Vertigo again, not too bad though.  Preventing me from stitching, very little progress the other day.  I really want to get back to this sampler.  Just love it!

After heavy downpours last night, this morning is again cool, I love the sun on greens.  Ferns are doing very well.

The garden is not.  A few tomatoes but most have the fungal wilt.  Slugs took down the brussel sprouts, the zucchini rot as they develop, the sugar snaps are yellow, very few peppers.  After the June flooding and rains, not enough time for recovery.  Just like dealing with tint in paint, you can always add, but can't take it away.  That's the story of the garden's water.

Speaking of paint, it would be best for me to stay off Pinterest.  Rooms and sites that changed to a white scheme and inspired me to switch to a clean look, are adding color.  Silly people.  Don't they know how vulnerable I am?

Enjoy your day.  I'll be sleeping off the Meclizine.

Beautiful ferns, I need to remember to bring hooks and galvanized watering can and was tub next year. I keep forgetting. Yours always look so very nice. Feel better soon.

So sorry you are experiencing vertigo Marly. I know that is nasty. Gardens are not predictable = things that did well in the past are not doing well now. No green beans for us this year. Weird. Do take it easy - hope you are feeling better soon.

So sorry that you are down with vertigo again. Why don't you keep a journal as to what the weather is and what activities you have done as well as what you are eating. You might find a pattern and be able to avoid any triggers. I really hope this isn't chronic. It is too bad that your garden has suffered from the over abundance of rain.

Been catching up on your posts. Prayers for Carole, and for you, the caretaker too. So glad the doctor was a good one. Prayers that he will be right on treatment and the clip will be next. Vertigo -- what a coincidence! lol! I had a very very bad attack on the 15th last month. I'm still not perfect after all this time. Close, but no cigar. I hate vertigo. :( Especially when I throw up. Hope yours isn't too bad.

Sure hope you feel better soon! I had a big bout with vertigo a while back. Mine did finally clear up. Nasty while it lasted! Sorry also about the garden. We,on the other hand, have not had nearly enough!! I have watered for weeks and weeks!

Marly, please take time for you too. You are so so giving. It brought a smile to me that you are excited about getting back to your stitching. I find such happiness in my slow and simple stitching. Feel better

It was soooo hot today and I'm praying for rain. We had such a nice rainy season until a couple weeks ago. Now the ground has cracks developing. My tomatoes are still doing well, had to water them tonight. I found a slug the other day....I called him Peroy's cousin because I've been stitching Stacy Nash's Peroy the slug. I'm doing him in Purple. That's right Purple Peroy and I want to convert her design into a punch needle design because I think he would be cute but I think a pretty orangish/rust Valdani would be nice. We've been battling the dreaded Cicada Killer Wasp again this year and tonight we had FIVE little skunks come out of the shed!!!!!! We knew they got in there someway/somehow because the shed smells like skunk. Our feral cat is not happy about this and neither are we. I don't know how we can look for an entrance with them in there. Never had this happen before in the 42 years we've lived here. Take care and I hope the vertigo goes away.
