This tree was to have dried cloved oranges, but I like the simplicity of nothing at all. It's a perfect tree for dried fruits and I have enough lemons, limes, and pomegranates, but I like it this way. Still not adjusted to the almost white room, and may go over it with the cream that is in the little powder room.
It's raining and turning to snow. We were to make a quick trip to a mall in Ohio for a new golf bag, but he decided to stay home.
I am trying a new recipe tomorrow that the pierogi makers were served recently. The recipe is from Zgoda, the Polish magazine published by the PNA. Honestly, it does not sound good at all!! But it received rave reviews, so I will try it. Bought a fresh batch of allspice berries and always have bay leaves handy, and I am anxious to give this a try. I assume it's OK to post it here since the publication can be viewed online. You can view this 2019 Fall issue and back issues.
Have a great weekend!!

Merry Christmas Marly: He does not look crabby to me he looks pooped out like aftre working all night, giggles.
I love the tree even without decorations, so simple but pretty.
The recipe looks somehow different from the recipes of other goulash that my Mother made and my polish aunt, by marriage.
I will have to try this one.

Yes, I agree with Catherine. I think that Santa is worn out.
I like that small tree just the way it is.
The goulash actually sounds like part of a veg soup recipe I use. Personally, the sour cream would be the last thing I added to keep it thick. Let us know how you do like it.
I'm sure your crabass Santa will make us smile ;)
I think he looks exhausted, holding the tree upside down isn't that a sign of distress. hahaha
Love looking at your "stitcher's Christmas. Am so glad I found your blog so many years ago. Can't think of anything I've enjoyed as much as stitching the PS Santas and having them on my tree at Christmas time.
Your soup sounds like it would be delicious. What is a "ball" of allspice ?
Have a happy Sunday.

Enjoying the Christmas decorating at yours. Sorry about the surgery being cancelled. This seems to be a continuing thing. Hope it gets done soon.
