Who has a new printer?

ME!!!  Finally.  So to test the new Canon's color and clarity, I printed a few labels and I'm pleased with the result.  Since I did not have my annual Christmas giveaway, let's have one for spring.  I plan to sell one and give one.

Giveaway is for this small 5" wide heart paper mache box (one!), brown paint with sanded edges, a label snippet from Goode Huswife's Pennsylvania Beehive.  If you would like to participate, leave your initials or email in the comments.  If you can't, send entry to samplersandsantas@gmail.com.  Because of shipping, I'm sorry, this one is US only.  Drawing will be Tuesday evening at 8pm.

I plan to sell this fabulous project bag, perfect for retreats or multiprojectalists.  It's not made any longer, very sturdy, loads of zippered pockets, three of them clear.  It won't be cheap!

Details soon.
Can you believe February is over?
Don't forget to leave your name or email!!

Well....do tell which Canon printer you decided on? I'm about to drop kick mine out the front door....and was getting tired of buying ink cartridges (from having to clean the heads each and every time I want to use it), so I was actually thinking about investing in a laser printer? But, after we move (one less thing that will get damaged/lost in the move).... Nice looking sampler box!

Catching up on your blog posts. How do I fall behind? Love what you've been stitching. Love your quilt batting idea. Brilliant! Love your boxes too. I'm bad about keeping up with blogs though. So I might miss it if I win. Ah well! Just in case. Thanks! MC

So glad you are pleased with your new printer, Marly! We got one a couple years ago, but I've been a bit underwhelmed by it. With your labels, it's so important to have clear printing with accurate colors... Your boxes turned out great and I would love to own a Marly original :) CWI

Wow !! the cute boxes for giveaway. That is an exciting idea. But sadly, I don’t reside in the US. The sampler work is looking great. Keep stitching, and have a great week ahead!!

Oh! The giveaway boxes are really good. Too bad I can't place an order because I live in India. Now that the lockdown is in place, we have planned for a simple celebration with just the four of us.
