I think it's only four feet for cats.

The eyelet alphabet has been completed. Sort of. I did not change the 712 of the F to the lighter thread I switched to but it's fine. It shows well in the photo but not as much in person. I much prefer the darker 922 of the XY that I subbed for the lighter 407, and planned to change them, but they look fine also and will stay. I should have worked that out after one letter if I wanted more contrast, not at the end!!
I always stitch left to right and top down but since this chart is many pages, I am trying one side first, then moving right. Again, sort of.

As you can see, I couldn't help myself and already worked some of the right side chart pages. The very thin alphabet composed of satin stitches is the top portion and I may do a little at a time, removed most of what I had stitched because I did not like the look. Moving on to the right border rather than completing the bottom left is my thinking, simply because the motifs and polka dot critter will be fun. If I do that now and leave what I consider to be more tedious for last, it will drag me down and pull the crabass up.
Hope your weekend is going swell.
I may work outside today until the old lady within calls it quits.
Be safe!!

Marly: This is going to be and amazingly beautiful Sampler, I love the colors the symbols and the alphabet.
Is your new baby in the group?
Have a great week

You are moving along on the sampler! My stitching...and hooking...has been in slow motion. Too darn much to do in the yard :( Never ending...sigh.
Glad to see the furrballs doing their get-along distance. It's nice to see them stretched out and relaxed. Can't wait to see the sampler done. Hope you're getting some rest.
I love the photo of the cats, Petey seems to be one of the gang now.
What a great photo of your socially distant kitties! Must send it to my middle cat-loving son :)
Petey seems to have been accepted, nice cat grouping. I love to do eyelets ,that is when you get the hang of it and "do not cross over the opening". Never made it to get annuals, my husband is very concerned about getting sick. I found some nasturtium seeds ( in refrigerator)for my window box and will hope for the best. Luckily may backyard gardens are perennials so no digging. I might be getting too old to dig holes in the ground. Love hostas they fill in so much space every year. Have a good week.
Fun photo of the cats. I do love that sampler. It looks great so far.
Ha! Socially correct kitties! It really looks like they are staged...they are almost all the exact same distance apart and laying the same way. Loving your sampler....yeah, leave the colors...they're looking perfectly perfect to me. Did you say "pages" of chart?? Yikes. I have never been fond of multiple-paged charts LOL. I will have to look up a photo of this design again to see what you're talking about when you say "fun" motifs... I haven't picked up a needle since The Water Wench....I've been doing a bit of hooking though.... ~Robin~
