Checking out your Creeping Charley. My window boxes are white vinyl , not even metal, but plants can’t cascade over the edge because they get burned by the hot vinyl of that 1 1/2” lip. Ticks me off after seeing pictures of lush and full ones.
Beautiful flowers and greenery......We've had NO rain whatsoever. I do water a little bit but it's not doing much good. No rain even in the forecast. Petey looks comfy and cool on the cool ground. Take care. Charlotte in Va.
Always enjoy seeing pictures of your yard - so lovely! Your hostas look fantastic but I cant help being curious about something. I have pretty much the same climate as you and my hostas are in full bloom right now. Where are your hostages flowers? Or are you like my neighbor who loves hosta *plants* but thinks the flowers are ugly so she chops off the flower spikes as soon as they get started? ;)
You have such a green thumb Marly! Your plants are beautiful,so lovely and lush...nothing like nature to relax and soothe the soul. Petey looks so content, happy he has found such a good home.
Love how you display your plants and they looking gorgeous! Petey is laying comphy under the plant. Your sampler is very pretty and will be ready soon. Have a great weekend and stay save and healthy. Greetings Truus from Holland
Your hostas are beautiful...and I am always smitten with the lime green colors of Creeping Jenny and Sweet Potato Vine.... I always plant some of the vine, but each year, when they just get to the "filling out" part, they seem to be eaten to pieces....Haven't quite caught the culprits "green-handed," but I have a very good idea of the most likely culprits. No matter....I keep planting it year after year LOL. Yes, rain does wonders....we've been a bit on the wet side, but I'm ok with that.... ~Robin~

I had many of these same plants growing at our home Marly. I love them. Love Petey too.
Beautiful! I am jealous you got rain. Yesterday the rain didn’t even wet the pavement under the trees.

Marly: You have a talent for decorating with plants and flowers.
We hope to have rain this evening and tomorrow, fingers crossed.

Love the hostas!! Petey is so sweet, glad he is getting a little more social.

Ugh - stupid autocorrect! "Hostas" not hostages!
The leaves look beautiful. I am having fits this year as a deer is eating my plants. Every leaf was eaten off one of my hostas! Any suggestions!?

Sweet Petey, your hostas look very healthy. We needed a rainy day here in RI, grass looking a bit parched.
Cats always improve photo stills :)
I wish Hostas grew here but it’s far too dry in SoCal—love the yellow-green pop of color.
