My plan for this to be a needle book will not happen today. Or tomorrow. As I came down the right side while thinking of a flower color, I realized the border was too far left. Failing to stitch the four extended stitches in the first section (error #1) caused me to believe it was properly positioned (error #2). Those four little troublemakers will be one stitch from the house. I could finish this with misaligned sides, or I could remove the stitches. I'll decide later.

Don't remove the stitching!! It's beautiful and no one would ever know the difference!!
Looks great to me ~ go for it !
Don't ya hate it when those little "oops's" turn into cursable regrets? On a brighter note, I adore your color changes....those birds are just beautiful!! Even though I can't visualize your visions, I am always stunned at your gift with color. Needlebook, eh? That's gonna be way cool.....~Robin~
That will a great needlebook.
I would leave the way it is....no changes or ripping out.
Have a great day and stay save.

That is so pretty - only you will no your error - nothing in nature is perfect so ......!
Or you could use another fabric - maybe a bias binding for contrast? - for the "spine" of the needlebook.
It looks great just the way it is!
