We cut about a dozen tags for ...... floss? baskets? knobs? totes? A smidge higher than the others and half have a tombstone top. Since I will be sitting with ice on my foot for a few days, I plan to play with the labels but I adore this one, my last stitched small. If I have too much trouble with color or something else, this may be the only one offered. For the price and what I get for my time, I'm in the hole as they say, so the least resistance and time and ink the better.

Carole was getting better and now worse. She is on antibiotics (one that I am not familiar with) and steroids so I hope we see improvement in a day or so.
September is over a week from today. NOOOOOOOOOO!!!! I am so loaded with appointments and tests scheduled for October and November (a new malady they have not yet diagnosed). And not one new hair sprout yet!

I sure do think about you a lot, as I would any of my long time friends. Why is that when we have never even met? Anyway I will ask my grandniece, “Saint” Mallory, to keep you in her prayers. She is seven and is a true believer in her faith. She and her mother pray before getting into bed and if God hears prayers I’m sure he hears hers. You’ve got a few things going on so it will be overall good health for you but maybe a smidge extra for new hair growth, okay? ☺️👩🏻🦳

I know, I know--this year is just flying by. I dread the winter, too, but do look forward to October as we get to see our little one in California again (although from the photos they're sending he's not so little any more!). Your tags will be so special--really like the idea of a Halloween design on the ones with the rounded tops :)
I agree with your bird selection, otherwise I'd be happy having the red house on a
tombstone. Holding you and Carole up for healing mercies and full recovery. Too bad
you did not require the ice when the weather was in the 90's. Drink something warm
and you will fool the bod. It might take a while for the hair to emerge...be patient
and get ready to purchase a heavy duty hair brush.....

Hopes and prayers that your new "issue" isn't anything serious....you've had enough to deal with for a couple lifetimes me thinks. And rats on the hair!! I’m a day behind. I swear the older I get the further behind I become. Hope your mending nicely! The threadkeeps will be lovely! I have yet to ever use one. But I want to. It’s just that old habits are hard to break.
