Wow.

I thought about it, and thought about it, and thought about it, and realized I was wasting a great deal of repair time trying to avoid it.  Big girl panties on, carefully reversing some and Lift 'n Snipping the rest.  This was a major improvement over my impatient hissy fits of months ago.  Well, weeks.  Maybe a few days. OK, yesterday.  And then, and THEN, I started stitching it again with correct placement.  Am I sure?  I was the first time and look how that ended.  So this time, I started with the stitch closest to that alpha border and worked out from there.  I hope to get the flowers back in tonight.  But I do believe this newfound tolerance is temporary because my laptop is still at high risk of a window toss.

We won't be getting our Covid results until Monday, still fine, and my cousin received a call to report to a hospital in Erie PA for monoclonal antibodies this weekend.  He would have received treatment today but it's a several hour drive and he couldn't get there in time.  I received this information about treatments, some for early stage and one is even for patients already on ventilators.  Some doctors are willing to offer, others may not.  If I may be at risk of a vent or dying, I would not hesitate.  I think everything and anything you put into your body has the possibility to adversely affect some and not others.  So here's a few, not all, that have shown to be life saving drugs against Covid.

My husband had to cancel the 36 hole last tournament of the year even though his group encouraged him.  Outdoor event, certainly distanced, but he did not feel it was right.  So I instructed him to make dad's harvest soup which I will partake in shortly.

Have a good evening.

Marly: I would be going nuts if I had to rip out anymore then two stitch's, you are a brave woman to do so, I hate ripping out I always seem to do damage to the fabric, I guess you could say I am an animal.
If you throw your laptop out how will you show us what you are working on save the laptop save the laptop, giggles.

I agree with you about using whatever available drugs possible to get help should you have COVID. Hey, I am allergic to Lipitor,(a cholesterol drug) that many people take. You just never know. I am glad you decided to fix your cross-stitch as I know you would not have been happy with the many mistakes. Sometimes counting is challenging. In dealing with all of my mother's dementia and care issues, I have found myself "unstitching" far more often than I ever did before. Your stitching is looking good.

Bravery is exactly how I would describe your efforts! I also destroy fabric on rip-outs, particularly on linen. Thanks for the medication updates. We are all still in wonder about effective treatment. So many contradictory opinions!

A friend received the monoclonal antibody treatment for COVID earlier this year and reported that It was AMAZINGLY effective and fast. It would be my treatment of choice, although hopefully you’re fine and won’t need it at all.

You are going so fast with ripping out what was wrong and what you already have stitched again!
Hope you will receive good news about the covid test results.
Take care and stay save, Truus from Holland

I am so glad to hear your cousin is going to get treatment. I wouldn't take Remdesivir because it has been proven to cause kidney problems. I don't know the other drugs you have listed, but IMHO, I wouldn't trust anything the government or press say is okay. Ivermectin, which has been known to help Covid patients, has been bought by Merck, so you will now see a nice increase in price for this drug. This is the drug, if you remember, the press said was for horses and would kill humans. But now, all of a sudden, big pharma found out it works, so they grab it and will make billions on it, which we all know will cost us. Ivermectin has a positive track record. Look at India - there's a province there that used it and Covid has been virtually erased there, many lives saved. IT'S ALL ABOUT THE MONEY.

Hoping your test results come back negative.

Praying that both of your results come back negative. Please, please share your dad’s harvest soup recipe! And thank you so much for listing the drugs to fight CoVid-19. I’m going to get my third (booster) shot in a few minutes, but since I’m 63, with Type 2 diabetes, rheumatoid arthritis, & no immune system due to two RA drugs, I figure better safe than sorry! I’m happy you fixed the errors. They would have absolutely driven me crazy!

You had me at soup.... And the name has me curious....I agree with Kimm...recipe please! I am loving this sampler way more than I should (dance card more than filled...backside too)....but the colors of floss and linen are just beautiful. I could write a book on my opinions on treatment options (or lack there of in reference to the word "options" since many hospitals and pharmacies are refusing the choices made by the patients). I have done a great deal of research because of several people I have known who have had been faced with this...and unfortunately, the refusal to acknowledge their wishes or those of their families were refused with fatal consequences...and, well, because I have a bit of an affinity with rabbit holes. Suffice it to say that I would fight Remdesivir with all that is within me. It has a more than 50% fatality rate...and that rate increases significantly when combined with a ventilator. I will just leave it at that...and prayers for you, Mark and cousin. ~Robin~

I am loving this sampler, Marly and I know--in the end--you will be so happy with it. I'm way behind on blog reading having been to visit Baby B (who consumes every second of my time :) and I'm sorry to hear about your cousin. But that treatment does sound hopeful. Certainly hope you and Mark stay healthy. Sigh... it's just neverending. Take care now, my friend ♥
