and to all a good year.
A sad day for Carole as her newest room neighbor fell early morning and broke her neck.
A sad day for me as I learned of a former coworker having bile duct cancer that is inoperable and not responding to treatment.
The older we get, sad news will come more often, but there will also be good news to celebrate, helping us endure the bad.
Chris's girlfriend, her grandbaby, son, and parents became ill suddenly, all tested positive. He was exposed, and in turn, me. Yes, they are vaxed, but not the baby.
Hoping as this year ends, the second lacking adequate virus tests and more important antibody testing, we start 2022 with better control. Is that even possible?
Bless you all. Be safe.
I'm downing a quart of orange sherbert.

Merry Christmas Marly and Family.
So sorry to hear about Caroles roommate, so sad.
I am also sorry about Chris's family coming ill, I hope things are better for all soon.
Your Christmas Wreath and Santa are lovely.
Merry Christmas
Catherine
You are correct in saying that the not-so-good news is more often as we get older. Our friends and family members aren't getting any younger either. When bad news arrives on Christmas, well, it just seems so much worse, doesn't it?
Falling in older age or with other infirmities is a terrible thing. Working on balance is important for all of us.
May your Christmas be as good as possible, may your health not be compromised and some bright spots in life reaffirm just how resilient you are.
A blessed Christmastide to you and those you love, Marly. You have been a valiant trooper and I pray the new year will bring you reprieve and some joyful times to balance
the scales. Please take care of yourself and choose to derive enjoyment from the holiday
as best you can....joy is something you have certainly earned.
Merry Christmas Marly! Wishing you peace in your heart and some moments of calm and comfort. Amen to the antibody testing. ~Robin~
Marly, such sad news anytime, but especially on Christmas Eve. Merry Christmas to you and your family and only good news for 2022. As for me, I’m wishing I had some orange sherbet!! Have a wonderful Christmas Day, Marly. You’ve earned it! Take care....Cherie in WI

Good morning after Christmas. Sorry to hear all of the sadness and illness.
Has been a different kind of Christmas for me.........son and daughter don't see eye to eye or don't understand what the other one is talking about..........only adds for stress. Wish they were little again. So much more pleasant.
Had a nice dinner on Sat. Lots of left overs. Planing on buying Chili's (restaurant take out) for new year's eve.
Take care of yourself. Hope Carole will get to come home at some point. Praying for a better 2022 for you and all of America.
God bless you !
Hugs,
Charlotte in Va.
