Sleep with the frogs. Like a temperamental child, you have charmed, delighted, soothed, energized, and then slowly became uncooperative, moody, and difficult. You've won. Throwing in the floss. If you were much smaller, less detailed, and my lighter had butane, poof baby. Poof. So sleep well my beauty. I will not allow you to frustrate me enough to abandon my needle.
Mary Bell, Bluebird out my Window, and Jean Donaldson 1826 will all have fabric pulled today. Jean will be last since she has a fricking border with color changes and I need a simple project right now. Anxious to see this 8.5 x 13.5 on 40 count sampler whose details are hard to see in the photo. Something tells me the unique elements and motifs will not only be enjoyable, but stunning.
Have a good one!

MNarly: Both are a beautiful choice to stitch, I am looking forward to seeing the fabric choice and your progress.

Oh no! And so close to a finish. Is this a time-out, or a permanent benching for Rachel? If it's permanent, I'm offering to finish the last bits. It's too pretty to remain in a box forever.
Your Rachael was looking so pretty in spite of all the troubles she was causing but you stuck with her. Please put her away for a bit with intentions of finishing her one of these days. DO NOT toss her!!
Jane Donaldson doesn't look like an easy stitch and is pretty large. Why not just do a simple small piece to set your mind at ease, finish it and then attack Jane.
You need less stress right now.
Whatever you decide to work on, I'll be watching and hoping it will be an enjoyable piece for you to stitch.
Well, I’m disappointed that Rachel is in time out! I hope it’s temporary, too! Please don’t toss her or light her on fire!! But, enjoy whatever it is you choose to stitch. Have a good weekend, Marly! Cherie in WI
Noooo!!!!!!! You were SOOO close! Shame on Rachel!! Take her out to the woodshed - whatever it takes - but please don't let an incorrigible child have her way! ~Robin~
My dear, the best way to beat Rachel at her game is to finish her off....There seems to
be so little left to do. Do what is best for Marly, and should you put her to rest, please resurrect her one day, giving us the joy of seeing her completed by your fine
hand...
Well, yikes! Don't let little Rachel get the best of you. Count to 10, give yourself and break, have some chocolate and then get her done! You're almost there and then what joy you'll have! Best wishes!
Jean Donaldson looks like she is probably gorgeous, but I sure wish I could tell some details from the photo so she's on my might-get-someday list. Bluebird is such a sweet design - might give you a promise of sunshine and warmth this frigid week!
Ahhh, you are so close, but I sure do understand the sentiment. With all the frogging etc. I likely would have relegated her to limbo long before now. I'm anxious to see your fabric choices, stay warm up there, we are in a deep freeze!
Marly: I agree you are close, but frogging is a chore for sure.
Looking forward to your next post.
