This ain't no bluebird

 out my window.

Damn Skippy.

Cheryl mentioned the upside is a great reflection of light from the snow which most enjoy.  But unbearable for me.  I need to wear dark glasses inside my own house, even if the sun is not out.  But my condition is not life threatening and that is the upside I focus on.

We brought Petey's house inside to touch up paint and store, just couldn't bear to see it at the back door.  And the brat that would not accept him, obviously misses him.

Here 'ya go Cranky.  I'm doing it, and it's not as bad as I expected. The borders that really gnaw at me contain too many color changes for just a few stitches.  Only two here, repetitive, and I can handle this so I'm glad you shamed me into it.  I actually enjoy sawtooth so that part won't be bad either.

Stay safe.

p.s. I made my slaw, egg, cheese sandwich with Walmart's slaw.  Horrible!  Giant Eagle's is the best, maybe Grandma's, but if you try it make sure it's a good slaw.

This has been a most miserable day. Wanted to go out this morning, couldn't.....snow, wind, rain, cold....blah ! Watched all of the episodes of Stonehouse Revival on the Magnolia network. Beautiful houses in Pa. Now I'll have to wait until they film more.
Miss seeing Petey in his house. I guess Nitzy will enjoy it now. Too bad they couldn't get along.
Your border looks beautiful. I'm glad "Cranky" got you to do it. LOL
I know about the glare from the sun on snow.......terrible.
Take care, thinking of you.

Animals are amazing. I think Petey and Nitzy had an understanding, and he was part of the family. We miss him too. The Sampler looks so pretty, I can't believe what you accomplish!

Awwww....poor Nitzy... When our little Shih Tzu, Gazoo, passed, his best kitty buddy, Lizzi, took over his little bed. I always thought that Gazoo would be happy about that. I like to think Petey is happy about the arrangement too. YIPPEEE!!! So glad you gave in to my whining....it is looking amazing!!! Huge bummer about that white crap out your windows and doors. We still have a LOT of snow on the ground...and wicked cold with wind chill advisories the past several nights. Now we are to get snow tonight/tomorrow...and then...THEN...it's supposed to warm up to like 50º by the end of next week. WOO HOO!!! ~Robin~

You got lots more snow than we did, but no need to share. At least it will be warming up this week and hopefully melt it all.
Beautiful sampler!

So sad to see Petey's little house without him there but what a wonderful thing to see there appears to be a new occupant!
I hope Spring makes her appearance where you live pretty soon. Sorry to hear you have to wear sun glasses due to the sun's glare but am amazed at how much stitching you accomplish in spite of your eye problem and everything else that's going on in your life. Your sampler is really pretty. Good choice on the color changes.
