I am adding more to Ann as I can. Lots of eyelet stitching which usually was not a problem/nuisance but for some reason, Ann's is. I am using one thread on this 30 count and I changed more colors. The rust I added is not the deceiving bright shade that was in the previous photo, this one is more true. I do not care for the pale yellow or the very light beige so removed those from the eyelet and added in 924. There are a few letters in the upper alpha that I will change eventually. They lower third of the sampler is all blue and I could not envision the few distracting pink letters or a brighter substitute. I'm pleased with these colors and am following the chart but choosing the letter's color as I go along.
I am not spending the day at the hospital tomorrow because although the TENTH of November is Thursday. someone in scheduling thought it should be a Friday. So it will be. With limited workers, they are packing appointments for the few days workers are scheduled. I was told to expect a 5 1/2 hour day that should be only about 3.
Mary, you are no reply so I'm giving you the link here for the coffee roaster. They are in West Middlesex, and if making a day trip, Volant shops, Apple Castle, The Cheese House are less than a half hour away. The Cheese House has lots of food items we do not have elsewhere and also gift items. We always have a few laughs at their vast selection of snarky metal signs. Apple Castle is .... apples mostly!

Ann is so pretty, Marly. As usual, I like your color choices. Good luck with your tests. Cherie in WI
You are one FAST stitcher!!!
Your color choices are brilliant, love love love them! You have an artistic eye for sure, the piece looks soothing and cohesive. Today I had a doctor`s appointment for a med check and I was impatient after waiting 35 minutes, can`t fathom any excuse for 3 hours turning into 5 unless there is a legitimate emergency. Poor scheduling and inefficiency is my guess. They ought to contact the Mayo clinic, I hear that runs like clockwork!
Thank you for responding about the coffee roaster. Not sure why I am 'no reply'. I appreciate your taking the time.
I like the changes you have made in Ann, Marly.
Well at least the discrepancy on your appointment day was caught before you got there?
Ann is looking good. I think I too would change the colors if they don't stand out. Or if they do stand out like the pink, not in a good way.
Hi Marly: I am so sorry these things are happening to you, I think today's health care is awful and not like it was before covid.
Mike was supposed to have surgery on Monday now they cancelled, not sure why.
Ann is a beautiful design, I am looking forward to seeing this one finished, you make the best color changes.
