I've been testing my woozy vision on a fill-in and it's doable. Eyes moving back and forth from chart to fabric will be tested next, but I had no problem with fill for brief periods.
Julia's House in the Two by Julia book is the design, the roof is completed and not much left to stitch in the body. I've seen a few Nashville previews and will preorder from ?????. Several Superbowl sales took place, there is one shop that has the worst program for viewing and ordering. Confusing, frustrating.
Will be finishing the organizer installs at Carole's this week, then cleaning begins. Those wire bins hung on the inside of doors have created quick visibility, easy access, clearing shelves for larger items.
Time to shut off the screen, less time viewing offers more time stitching before the wooz returns.
Stay safe folks!

Glad to hear fill in stitching is a green light, Marly.
I'm glad you can stitch in small spurts. It might not be as satisfying as stitching for a half hour or more at at time, but far better than not stitching at all. How do you keep track of finished pattern names/designers? I'm doing good to remember a designer name. Even my blog is no help as I'm terrible about remembering to put project tags on posts.
Sigh...I should turn off the screen as well, so less looking at what others are accomplishing is done, and more doing of my own is done.
yay for a green light! ~ I have to take many breaks when cross stitching now, but that's ok. love the new header photo :)
That's a lot of stitching. Yikes. Glad you're getting a stitch fix in. ~Robin~
I'm happy to see that you're managing to stitch for a bit, Marly! I can't seem to sit and stitch for hours like I used to. I get very antsy and just have to get up and do other things. My eyes have been extremely dry this winter in spite of the eye drops. It's so annoying, but I know nothing compared to what you have to deal with on a daily basis. Good for you for turning off the screen! I need to get better at doing that, as well. Happy Valentine's Day tomorrow--hope it includes some wonderful chocolates! ♥
Even with all your issues, you are still a very prolific stitcher!
You did already a great amount of stitching!
Have made several of your freebees and love them all. Will have to make them again, because I did give them away to others who loved it so much.
Take care and stay save, Truus from Holland
