Portulaca!

Working outside this afternoon.  Was planning to burn this toolbox until I spotted these portulacas at the greenhouse.

Mom had them every year, started from seed.  I got several packs for Carole's narrow planter, perfect for such a display.

Benezet has become a difficult task.  The satin pickets are ten high, spaced two threads vertical but one thread horizontal.  I tried doing two linen threads but the picket became too wide.  Tonight I will use the Dazor to align top with bottom poke, and make sure the two down but one over is correctly placed.  Am I explaining that correctly?

Hope you had a nice day.

I adore your toolbox planter! And I love portaluca... Last year I had such amazing pink ones and they just thrived in the big planter by the pool tumbling all over. Actually, yes, I understood the stitching issue perfectly for the first time probably ever LOL. ~Robin~

Portulaca are very pretty plants and I love them, but didn't find these in the greenshop this year.
Don't you have trouble with slugs in the garden? It's terrible here in the Netherlands and my goosberry was green and lots of flowers for berries, but now there are only stalks and not a green leave is left.
And so with a lot of plants are disappeared by the slugs....🙈
Take care,Truus from Holland
