Where?
I had to call my doc since I received no calls or results from the test. She said I have early beats, skipped beats, and general palps, nothing would cause this feeling. She doesn't feel the magnesium is high enough to be the cause, and since my rate for 48 hours averaged normal, those drops are ok. The worst episode happened during the test, so now what? She offered to make an appt with cardio, but doesn't believe their findings will be different. No ideas regarding the cause of my episodes. So the answer is floating in the twilight zone.
Bernarda is taking much longer than expected.
Now about those cats. Condensed fiasco ... they were left to die in a rental that is being razed about an hour from here. The property owner found them and called since he knows they were friends. No agencies would help, overloaded. She had no choice, and several escaped. Daily drives back and forth to trap failed. I found out yesterday that 12 were kittens about 7 weeks old, all failing. One died that night, four others two days later, an agency 90 minutes from here took the remaining 7 yesterday (but not the two mothers) as an emergency. I don't know if they have an answer about the cause yet. Several adults are still here and looking for homes, four she knows were neutered several years ago. That really wasn't condensed enough.
Adding to my beautiful collection of Brenda cards, this is the latest. Handmade by her, perfection. Thank you once again Brenda!
I can take off the hoodie worn the last few evenings, hot today. I hope everyone has a safe 4th, I wish fireworks were only in shows and homeowners had nothing more than sparklers.
Be safe! But enjoy.

Oh, what a heartbreaking situation. I can see a tender-hearted person feeling compelled to step up and try to help. So sorry there is no one else to relieve some of the burden. Shame on people who abandon animals; there's no hell hot enough for them. I wish I could offer a solution from 300 miles away.
I guess that is why they call it a medical "practice" ;-(
Me thinks you are making great progress on Bernarda.
Such a sad situation with the cats, but at least the kittens have found someone to take them. All rescues are overloaded and can only do so much, sad to say.
What a beautiful Brenda card.
Happy 4th to you and Mark.
The weather sure is crazy!!!
Have had about the same with heart failure and surgery-- nothing wrong with the holter24hours,but without breath and energy etc.
And that's with all the time when I become ill or feeling bad-- nothing will be found-- so it will be.
Poor little cats...
Bernardais looking great and the card Brenda made,it beautiful.
Take care,Truus from Holland
Prayers for your health.
I'm with you about the fireworks. There are other ways to celebrate.
Praying for the kitties too. Such a sad situation.
Hoping you'll have a safe, happy, healthy 4th of July.
Sorry about the kittens, at least the remaining 7 got taken by a rescue. I hope any males left at Carole's are able to get in for a neuter quickly. Sadly once the kittens are gone, more are on the way almost instantly. At least 4 females are already spayed, that's 4 more than many cats in that situation are.
Brenda made you a very pretty card - love the cat giving the side-eye. You might be thinking Bernarda is taking a slow boat, but at least it's progress. I've not touched needlework in months. This winter it was a gift quilt and now it's weeding that have taken priority.
I really hope the doctor isn't basing all her assumptions & diagnosis on symptoms males exhibit. Or failing to consider if Sjogren's is contributing. And there's always your unique reactions to medications. I hope there's an answer found soon.
Sad situation with the cats and kittens. I have some choice words for people who abandon animals. We've had a feral cat problem here for many years. We've been able to trap the kittens and rehome them to farmers, but thos adult cats are too smart to get trapped.
I pray that you get answers to your heart issue. I've had similar episodes and it was finally determined that the steroid I was given for the rash last summer is the cause. For most people, the issue subsides after the steroid has gotten out of the system. For me, however, it is likely permanent.
Sorry you did not get the answers and direction you had hoped regarding your tests, Marly....hope you are able to get it resolved.
Brenda's card is so lovely, you must have been delighted. What a
sad commentary on the cats and kittens and the lack of caring and
responsibility that produced that situation. You have such a sensitive
heart in such matters and I have always admired your above and beyond
efforts to accommodate your feline "visitors"....Bernardais coming along beautifully. Enjoy a relaxing rest-of-the-Fourth with Mark.
Well, that stinks about the test results. Although there's some relief that they didn't find anything "major," it is so frustrating not being able to find a reason and, therefore, a solution. (Kind of going through the same with recurrent kidney infections...). I wonder if Pam in Il is on to something though - you were on steroids for a while, weren't you? Ahh, so sad about the cats. I can understand the impulse to reach out and try to help. Big hearts obviously run in your family's genes. Praying for those little furballs. Such innocents. Happy belated 4th. I'm you-know-where, and while some of the lights displays are glorious from where I am, the noise is disturbing. I've never been a fan. Your 'tunias are gorgeous! All my plants will be D.E.A.D. by the time I get home. Just don't have time to drive back to water...ran into many unexpected issues unfortunately. ~Robin~
First, the flowers are stunning, mine look like straggling stinkers by comparison.
Next is the situation with people dumping pets. We have it here too. All the shelters are bursting at the seams. I cannot have a kitty now, Miss Lola has a very strong prey instinct, the poodle in her is uncontrollable. My Georgia Louise was the sweetest little girl, she was 15 when she passed. I miss her every day. I have an afghan I was working on when she passed. I just can't pick it up now.
And of course, the old medical me just has to say something about your ticker issues. As we age, we all have episodes of premature beats, often a series of rapid beats, in succession and often not captured on monitors. That sinking feeling you describe, no matter what the cause, can be the result of that. It might be the Sjogrens, it might be another medication, it might also be triggered by stress. By dismissing your complaint and saying the cardiologist would come to the same conclusion is rather unprofessional. (IMO) Such comments tend to make us question what WE know. If this is occurring regularly and your thyroid tests are normal, I would forge ahead with a well respected cardiologist.
