All gone. Checkup was good, still have a few flashes but the retina looked good to the doc.
Just wanted to mention that if you are considering a purchase of Tobias linen, I checked with Seraphim and that light Affogato-y shade is now Tobias. Completely different but the name was not changed. I haven't found any online shops that have the original darker bronze linen and once I have even the slightest pickle, I move on. So now I don't want it.
I usually order from 123Stitch, Hobby House, Hollis Hands Create, and recently Farm Girl. You can check with any shop before ordering about returns, Hobby House is accommodating if your purchase is not what you expected (as the significant difference I showed). Although this is a nice piece of linen, I don't care for the slight greenish hue and have Affogato in my stash that is very close. Or sell it? Still have the few pieces mentioned previously that I want to sell, I need to decide.
These tiny ornaments were found at Carole's, I know my SIL stitched them. Not being a bead or Mill Hill stitcher, I may become one. I will be searching for similar projects online. Aren't they precious?
Hope you are doing well.

Thank you, Marly, for the information on Tobias. That makes absolutely no sense to have a completely different color with the same name. Now I don’t want Tobias either! So happy for you that your eyes are doing well. Very good news to start the year. The ornaments are so cute. I haven’t stitched any Mill Hill either but always admire them. Have a good weekend! Yippee on your check up Marly. I order from most of the shops you mentioned too. I also order from Colorado Cross Stitcher. Am not a Mill Hill person myself either. Prefer linen to perforated paper and not a bead person. Janice
Glad the bubble is gone and the doctor is happy with your progress, Marly. What lovely beaded ornaments! Enjoy your weekend.
Great news on the check-up and the bubble exodus! I agree with Cheri - why would you not rename the linen?? If there's some weird but valid reason for keeping that name, then put a big disclaimer in the description that this is a new formula...or call it Tobias II or something. Yikes! Pretty ornaments. I've not done that myself but I've seen many that tempt me. I have a weak constitution you know. ~Robin~
So happy to read that the bubble is gone, Marly! So frustrating about the Tobias--hope you can find a substitute that you like. I've never been a beader, but those ARE pretty. Enjoy the snow--ha ha! So glad to be able to sit inside and watch is fall.
Great news on the bubble!
Hello Marly: Sounds like your eyes are getting better. It is hard to order online for fabric, I have had problems in the past doing so, the fabric looks good on the website but getting it seems to be a bit off color.
Love the Mill Hill ornaments so sweet.

So happy for you that the bubble has gone and the doctor is happy too.
Love the beaded ornament but never have stitched a complete ornament only some beads added to the stitching. Did some knitting purses with beads.
Have a good weekend.
Take care, Truus from Holland
Such good news about your eye Marly!! YAY!! The beaded ornaments are cute, but beading would make me CRAZY. LOL. I think it is too tedious for me. I like the color of the original Tobias, but stitching on dark linen is a problem for me. Lighter shades are better for my eyes.
So, now we not only have to wonder about the normal differences due to dye lots and thread count, we need to add dyers keeping the same name for a totally new color? And with no warning in big letters on the website? UGH! Myself, I'd be returning it, and not deal with selling it myself.
Pretty little beaded ornaments. I've never been tempted to try those. I guess I don't have the desire to try and keep a container of beads under control in addition to the regular stitching items needed out. Maybe if I had a nice little stitching table like yours...
FANTASTIC news on the bubble being gone and the good results!
