My first flat finish, added mini poms. I tried Tacky, Fabric Fusion, and except for the fabric to the cards, rick rack would not stay, even had issue with the poms. I was expecting a quick grab to hold it, did not happen. This will be mine for now so I changed to the backing and colors I prefer.
She does not want it there now for several reasons. The green looks sweet and cheerful, but I so prefer this! The backing board for hers is already covered, I'm using the same threads on the same linen, the second one will be an easy and pleasant project and a quick finish.
If you are interested in the pay-it-forward giveaway, please leave initials or email in the comments on this post, or email me directly,
This is for chart only, With Thy Needle and Thread's Bluebird Out My Window.
I will draw a name on 2/12 at 8 pm.
I request that you pass it on to another stitcher when you've finished this project and continue the bluebird's flight of kindness.
I'll be back on the 12th, not feeling well. Meeting Carole at our cardiologist office Friday and hope to talk them into a sooner appointment for me, or testing before then.
Enjoy your days!

Beautiful finish! Please enter me in your pay it forward giveaway. My best to you and your sister. KBC
I don't know how long I've been reading your blog but just today found your page of pears! Our Grandson was killed in Afghanistan and I will be stitching the flag pear along with some of the others. Thank you! Also would love the bluebird pay it forward as we have a pair of them that raise their little ones in the bluebird house that is on our front deck. Just Sunday we saw them for the first this year,so am partial to the little guys.
Goodness, hope you are able to get yourself well taken care of by that elite doc....and that Carole's appointment goes well. In the meantime, rest and fortify. Love your
Bluebird finish....tiny pom poms add to the charm.

Great job on that flat finish - it looks wonderful. I would love to be entered in the drawing - the blue bird would be fun to stitch, and as my school mascot, I could put it on my desk!
Thanks!
Love that bluebird- looks great in 'your' finish, or in Carole's. Please enter my name in your pass it forward drawing. Thank you and Hope you are feeling better quickly. dh
Hi Marly,
What a beautiful finish on the Bluebird. I'm so happy you were pleased with the chart and I'm really impressed that you are or are going to stitch it so that you have one and Carole has one. When I sent the chart to you, I had no idea Carole loved bluebirds, so that made the whole thing very meaningful. Bless you :)
Will be hoping for some good upcoming health reports for you and Carole.
Oh my, sorry you are not feeling well. In spite of that you certainly do get a lot done with a needle. The flat finish is adorable and the poms are perfect. I have this pattern somewhere in the stash so don't include me in the giveaway. Take care
Wonderful finish...and, yes, these colors are more to my primitive liking too...but Carole's is so very fun and cheery. Please don't include me in your sweet giveaway... While I love this pattern (what's not to love about a bird and a house??), I am not quite sure when I'd do it as I know how fickle I can be and I would not want to interfere with the bluebird's flight of kindness. Hope you feel better soon. 🥺 ~Robin~
Love your finish and would be happy to have the pattern to stich...hope you are feeling better and best wishes for Carole and all that she faces.
Beautiful Marly. Your stitching is always so nice to see.
What a sweet finish. Though I love the pattern, don't add me to the give-away. I would never stitch it in a timely manner to pay it forward.
Feel better soon ;-)
Get well soon Marly so you can go to Carole and see the cardilogist and perhaps he can help you too.
Love the finish with the pompons and fabric. It is a pity the ricrac didn't stay on the fabric and I am sure you will find a solution for that.
Take care and stay save, sending healing prayers for you both,Truus from Holland
I’d love the pattern.
I’m sad that you’re unwell. Sending a mental bouquet of your favourite flowers
I love your colors. I am very hesitant to change the called for colors but you do it so well! I think I may have to try it sometime. I'd love to win the chart, you are so kind to offer it! Hope you and your sister get to feeling better, you both have been through so much.
Such a pretty chart. I know exactly who I would share with next.
It is a lovely finish, Marly! I am going to pass on the opportunity for this chart. Hope you are feeling better today.
Marly: What a sweet design and finish, the backing fabric is perfect.

I love how your final finish turned out, Marly! I've already stitched this one so no need to include me in the drawing... Good luck to all! I'm so sorry you're not feeling well--do take care ♥
Please put my name in your drawing; it's a lovely pattern. Thank you!
Very pretty Marley! So glad you are feeling better!
This is a wonderful finish Marly.
I am sorry to hear you are poorly. I am praying for you.
Hi Marly, I love how you finished your bluebird! I hope both you and Carole are feeling better soon! Don’t add me to your giveaway.....I’ve already stitched it! Have a good weekend! Cherie in WI
