But I finally came up with a solution for those pots that
I like.
Not sure where these will go, if anywhere.
And the lantern will be an option for a change, holding a battery candle and a few greens for holidays. He made this exactly the width of the copper sheet, no cutting needed, just wrap and secure. Deciding on paint or stain.
My tri-color mums are starting to open as the yellow ones fade. Perfect timing, five for $47 at my Amish greenhouses. Massive!
Here's Rachel progress.
Rainy day, rushed leaf pick up early this morning before it came. We did them yesterday but there were so many this morning the grass was not visible. My flaming red maples are again this year, barely colored and rapidly shedding.
Good day to make soup. Which one?
Have a good day.

Well I love that idea on your peg rack above the window! Lantern project taking form quickly. You two are a creative pair! The mums are beautiful and what a great price. Stew in the crockpot for a cool and windy day. Enjoy your soup today.
I so am in love with your copper feature. I had the tri colored mums last year and liked them. Yours are awesome. Am making ham and bean soup today. It is a rainy day here and perfect for soup. Janice
So creative as always.
What a deal on the mums!!! Simply gorgeous.
Love the copper display solution! (Just don't forget to show us a photo of the lantern when you get it done!) Beautiful mums and, yes, amazing price. How can you possibly pick up leaves in your yard??? It would be a lifetime project here. It rained all day and night here yesterday - think we got about an inch altogether. Today is cold and brutally windy. Heavy, large, planters with big plants (including the one you commented on between my garage doors) blown all over the yard. If you see my Halloween decorations, please let me know. Hard freeze tonight. Brrrr.
Beautiful Mums and beautiful stitching. I need to check figs today - we are expecting frost tonight....
Love your peg reck-- it looks fantastic by the window.
And your Mum are great and not expensive at all! Perhaps soups as our neighbours....soup from tomatoes...can smell it here in the house...
Take care, Truus from Holland
Oh, that looks great above your window, Marly! I knew you'd come up with a perfect solution. And those mums--so impressive and SO MASSIVE! Lucky you to be near that greenhouse. Enjoy this sunshine :)
