Mosey 'n Me designs

Well, just like a wedding, all that preparation, excitement, and work is over in a day.  I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas!  We've been hit with that winter storm and ended up with  8-10" of white crap.  Between that and cookie hips, my mood has been bad at times, and the parents and families in CT are still on my mind.

True to form, I decided on Christmas Eve to change the decorations and move the trees.

I thought I would show you two completed Mosey 'n Me Christmas designs.

I visited their site http://www.moseynme.com/catalog/05-christmas.php this morning and found a few more Santas that I may order. This is one - isn't he a riot?  I love to have an odd guy mixed in with the traditionals.  There are a few more that I like and may order this week.

I just added this Mosey 'n Me  from Cricket-Bug-Corner.  Isn't he sweet?  I saw him on her blog right after I posted so I snagged him from her site before I pin to Pinterest.

Still working on Sophia and will have her done this weekend.  Very easy sampler to stitch if you like primitive style and want a simple design.

I'm trying to draw plans for a floss box today and hope to be working on it this weekend.  Not as easy as I thought it would be since the top will be too heavy to open without causing the bottom to tip.  Uh-oh.  I just came up with an idea.  Usually happens this way when I'm posting so jotting it down now would be a good idea before I forget.  I'll show you Sophia Waters later.
Have a great week's end and I'll talk to you soon!  Stay safe.

Thanks for visiting!

Morning Marly...well you aren't alone with these feelings - not sure what it is - if it's just being tired or just the let down of BEING SO BUSY AND THE HUGE BUILD UP OF THE FESTIVITIES...but I'm in a 'funk' as well - yesterday I didn't want to do ANYTHING.
Love the new stitcheries...so cute.
Blessings,
Karen

Love the Mosey Santas--especially the last guy. While I know it's a Christmas tree coming out of his pack, it looks a bit like an antenna! Other-worldly Santa!

Hi Marly Love the Santas. I think I'll start the two Christmas patterns I bought this year and maybe...just maybe...they might be done next Christmas!
I like the day after Christmas because I keep thinking of stuff I have to do...and then I remember it's already over...ahhhh.

I love the last Santa. He sure has slim legs, huh? I'm envious.
Writing things down as soon as I think of them doesn't always work for me because I then forget where I put my list. *sigh*

Santas are so cute! I seem to have a hard time each year with family and Christmas. This year , I did enjoy my DH and Grandson and that's about it!

Wonderful Santa's just love the cute nose on them.
Yes it is allot of work for the few days.
When you have done almost 50 Christmas's , I think this year I won't make a fuss but by the day every thing is out on display.
Happy New Year.

If I did Santa's those are ones I would do, cause I like 'different'. I like traditional too, but... any chance I get to add purple, I'm in! And I can see purple on those guys! Yes, Christmas is over...and I am back at work! The family has gone back home. Got lots of cleaning to do now. It never ends, but was worth it! There is good news here... Have another 4 day weekend coming!! WooHoo! Hugs!

More cute Santas!! I'd love to see a photo of all your Santa stitchings grouped together some time, Marly. I'm amazed at the variety you've stitched!

More snow is on its way--get ready :)

You can never have too many Santa patterns in my opinion and that one does look a bit like ol' Frank himself! I'm anxious to see your floss box design...I keep trying to figure out a way to store my DMC. My silks and overdyed flosses I keep on rings on a pegboard in my sewing room but there's not enough room for all my DMC rings so they are taking up a big drawer. I don't like winding my floss or those kinks you get when you use floss keys so I use the Floss-Away bags for all my threads but it's just taking up a lot of roomm. I hope you are enjoying some special holiday time and you have a great 2013. Thanks for all the inspiration you give us on your blog!
