This is my progress on Lori's free chart after removing the house start. It is charted for 611 but I love the colors it printed, and decided to change it to 3011. Looks better on the mystery linen color.
And I found a solution to my little girl's ivory necklace. What a putz. All I have to do is add more beads or chain! The double string is accessible through the screw clasp so I can change the entire piece with different beads or just add the chain to the back. I used my Dremel (LOVE that thing) stone to grind down the bright yellow flower centers. All these years of searching for a little girl to give it to and I could have been wearing it.
I think a cup of hot chocolate is in my immediate future and the thought of elderberry pie popped into my head this afternoon. I still have some in the freezer along with the dough for crust. Oh my.

Love your tags, Marly..you are so creative! I printed out the free chart of Lori's also...but haven't started it yet. I'm sure you'll have yours done in no time. The weather SUCKS...like everyone else...sooooo sick of it! But at least, misery loves company...we're all have crappy weather!

The necklace looks soooo much better without those bright yellow centers! I can picture it being worn with either a sleeveless dress or even a chambray shirt with the sleeves rolled up! Great start on Lori's design too! I downloaded it... have every intention to stitch it... just need to sit me hiney down and get to it! :-) I sent you an email for tags.... thanks again!

Yes the winter is not going anwhere yet, much the same here! Lovely tags you made for yourself Marly. The house of Lori is lovely, I have that on my list too when there is a spare minute. Great idea incorporating beads in your necklace, it is very pretty!

Sounds like you're missing spring as much as I am. Great idea for changing up the necklace. Where are you able to get elderberries? My husband loves elderberry jelly and I've been looking for a place to get them.
