Thank you

Hi everyone.
Hope you are having a good start to an even better day.  Just a quick post to say thanks.  Your concern over my sister's situation meant a lot to me so I thought a little gift would be in order.
I made a sampler box
lined it with a burlap postcard paper
finished it with my ratty looking paint style
and if you would like to enter the offer, please leave your name, initials, or email on this post only.  I will draw a name this Friday, 4/26, at 8pm EST.  I appreciate your words and visits and probably don't tell you enough.  Not being the kissy huggy type, it's par for the course.  But I want you to know that I really do appreciate your kindness and friendship.
A big thank you again!

We are out here having similar issues to you and your sisters. So we relate.
The box is a wonderful idea. Thanks for your thoughtfulness.

I was reading your older posts about kitties, we have that problem here, strays that are not fixed, so always kittens at this time of year. I hope your sister is feeling better, it is a pain getting older.

How very gracious to extend this gift to us! It is clearly a blessing that you and your sister have each other for support...being an only child, I remain in awe of sibling connections.
Continuing with prayers...

The box is lovely!! It would look wonderful at my house.
I also feel for your troubles with the fabric colors - the hand dyed are never the same twice - especially R&R! Weeks and Lakeside Linen are more consistent.

I used to wonder what all the fuss was when people would complain of sinus infections. Well in January I found out, it was one of the worst experiences of my life. I am so glad to hear that you are feeling better. I hope you are able to "have fun" as you "giddily" do your last minutes for the retreat. Thank you for finding a moment to be so generous among all of the other things you are doing now.

I continue to pray for her and for you too as she works through her illness. She is quite blessed to have such a loving, caring sister!

Thank you for your thoughtfulness and generosity for the giveaway! The box is very beautiful. Thank you for the chance to win.

My prayers will continue for you and your sister. Having a sister is a blessing. Mine is 13 years younger and had been more of a motherly relationship. As we are aging we share more interests in common and the difference in our ages is diminishing and becoming an endearing companionship.
Your lovely box gift is generous and I would be delighted to win it.
My prayers are with you both...Peace and Blessings,
Barb

You are a very generous person even if you're not the "kissy/huggy" type..I think you have a tremendous sense of humor.
I so appreciate your pear charts. They've given me a lot of pleasure and satisfaction by doing the cross stitch.
I would love to win your Sampler box.
I'm so glad that your sister got good news.. I've been there for my late husband when he had to have the cath done.. It's not a pleasant situation.
Happy Spring thoughts,
