Greetings! Hope your weekend is going well. I just wanted to show you my new finds. This is the first.
My second find is a stitching spot. I made a hole in the mess and plopped into mom's LaZboy. Damn. What a comfortable chair compared to the more-my-style pieces I'm used to.
And here's some of the other colors in Thankful.
The tags will be getting the Cart button today (Sunday), and I hope you will have some patience with me. I don't have a work area and when the finishers come back for the floor's final coat, I will have to leave again because of the fumes so it may be a few days before I can ship.
Once again, put the # of the design you want (followed by cord or ring) in the text box above the Cart button, and change the number of tags you're ordering (after hitting the Add to Cart box) in the quantity box and click on "update". You can change or remove any item before checking out.
Back to my hole in the mess. Thank goodness my neck warmer is red or I would never find it. BTW, I didn't want to go to the ER for my numbness so I called the auto insurer and they recommended Urgent Care. The very pleasant doctor gently touched each of the vertebrae in my neck and claimed that I am fine. ???? I stated that I have spondylolisthesis in C3 and C4 and I am concerned that the accident may have moved the vertebrae further into the spinal canal causing the jaw and arm tingling. No, you're fine, no need for an xray or other tests, just muscle tightness. Really? I hope you're right, but put that in my record, that I requested further evaluation and you felt it wasn't needed. Then sign it. I'll have my chiropractor order it for me. Putz.
Thanks for visiting and welcome to new followers!

Thankful seems to have pretty fall colors at this point.
Nice finds. Comfort is what it's all about when it comes to stitching chair.
That sounds like a good plan on the color changes.
Are you sure that doctor didn't first practice in Kentucky?

Love Thankful's colors! You must have won lots of Spelling Bees when you were a kid.....would live to hear you say that many syllable word having to do with your neck! Hope you feel better soon.....
Glad to hear you went to Urgent Care...but I hope you stay on the doctors about how you're feeling. LOVE the box you found !! Great deal. And I absolutely love the colors you picked for Thankful..can't wait to see it finished.
Putz sounds like the perfect word. Sheesh! My thoughts went immediately to those of Peggy Lee ... is Dr. Putz a Kentucky doctor?
Marly, Please don't take the word of one doctor about the tingling. It took five orthopedists, before a podiatrist recommended that my daughter see a Rheumatologist. She had also seen a chiropractor. The Rheumatologist diagnosed arthritis. My daughter is 37.
You need to watch siting in that Lazy Boy. They are known for causing folks to fall asleep. That's not a bad thing either. Lazy Boy chairs and chocolate. How good can a girl have it ?
Have a beautiful Sunday.

Love the little stitching spot you've carved out. Looks cozy. :) And I love your antique find too! I learned a long time ago that you sometimes have to see more than one doctor. You know your body best. You have to wonder if some of them haven't just sneaked into a white coat and are pretending to be doctors. Take care of yourself!
That little piece with the drawers is wonderful! I like it as it is, but it's hard to tell from the picture. Nice stitching spot too. Bummer about the urgent care doctor. :(
Yeah, definitely get a second opinion. I would. Sounds like a lazy butt! Thankful is looking very nice--I like the color changes, whatever they were to what they are now! Hugs!
Hi again,
I've missed a few posts here...
You seem to be able to work colors so beautiful together...it's a gift and your work shows it too. This piece will be beautiful.
I just can't believe that dr.s think we do not know anything. Hope it runs in his favor this time and that nothing serious is happening.
Blessings

Marly - I had to have a cervical fusion as I tore out the bottom four discs in my neck - please see a neurologist about your neck issue. Sometimes they can do things that will avoid having surgery. The "tingling" you are feeling will get worse if it's a disc issue and you could end up with bone on bone in your vertebrae.
My goodness! I had an accident and it totally messed my back and neck alignment up for almost two years. Went to the chiropractor atleast twice a month during that time. Now it slips every now and then but if its my neck forget it. I was told my neck was the stiffest and hardest neck to align hes ever seen. What a deal on your drawer! The markets here would put an unattainable price on it. Great find!
