Thanks to Spiderman, I made a little progress on Thankful Davis.
A few color adjustments and a satin stitch problem - the rest has been an easy stitch.
She has a very hairy border.
Lots of missed stitches and placement errors -
no frogging necessary because mine fit right in.
But the satin stitch row has been started several times and it's just a simple triangle! I don't know what is bothering me that I keep getting the width and height wrong. So I stopped and moved on to other rows. If I remember, I'll go back. If it's still a problem, I'll do a different band.
And the blinking colored dot is still in the upload box. ????????
But where the hell is Pinterest!!!! My daily dose is nothing but a blank page. This is not good. No notice saying there is a glitch or hiccup. I hope this is up and running soon. What will I do with all those extra hours if it isn't working?
I'm going outside now on my swing to enjoy the weather and boo-hoo about summer being over. For several weeks it felt like fall with night temps in the 40's so I feel cheated.

I don't even understand what the purpose of the colored dot it either.
So pretty! Those satin stitched triangles can be a bear to get right. Trying to interpret the chart and get it right -- ugh. But she's so pretty. I hadn't noticed the hairiness till you mentioned it. lol! As for fall -- I'll take your weather. It's soooooo humid here, it's gross! Thank goodness it's not too too hot. But no, I'm not ready for fall either.
YES, I am SO ready for September...sorry, Marly...I know you hate the cold weather as much as I hate the hot weather and it's been miserable in Michigan. I love your sampler and the stitching is beautiful! I love the colors too...they look so fall-like (ha ha).....

I really love this sampler. Are you missing a j in the second alphabet or is it just supposed to be that way? I love the colors too. The weather in S.IL is in the 80's tonight but sure wish it would cool down some. I love fall the best but it doesn't last long enough.
Thankful is looking so pretty! And as much as I'm not a fan of nasty humid weather, I'm not ready for September either. :)

I so totally agree with you about summer being over and I, too, feel cheated after having the cooler than normal August. Thankful is coming along nicely.
Looking really nice. I am with you on the summer lasting longer. It was 50 here in WI this morning after being 80 on Sunday.
