Second drawing

Good day!  I hope so anyway.  Amazingly, I didn't accidentally close the tab and Random can still scramble.   Carol - come on down!  You're the next contestant on To Pick a Pear!

My Blue Angel hostas.  LOVE these leaves.

It seems Missy and I have the same attitude.

I am a great hosta fan, My cats love to hide under them. My Sum and Substance one ( you can buy at any building supply store, Home Depot,) has leaves 14" across, I measured the other day. Would love to have Empress Wu, said to be the largest host. Glad you random drawing is still going...I still stand a chance then of winning.

Wow, the hosta leaves are huge! When I moved from the Northeast to TX, I brought some of my favorite plants with me, including some host. Little did I know that down here the slugs can decimate hostas in days... I decided not to participate in a (losing) battle that would require regular applications of pesticide or beer traps for them to drown in. The bright side is that I can grow some tropicals that I could not up North. Just not hosta!

My Mother and her older sister traded plants and each had the most wonderful beds. Thanks for reminding me about their love for these beautiful plants.
