The shape of things to come

What to do, what to do.

First choice

Second choice

A distant third

I vote for the square too. I downloaded this for next Christmas/Valentine's as I use hearts for both.
Well done!

I vote for the circle.

A woman and her needlework is the subject at hand. On first glance I like the heart. An echo of the original shape it seemed just right. Then I thought square, but depending on where it ultimately ends up. Finally, the circle is calling. Yes, I think circle. Prior comments seem to lean that way. I suppose it still depends upon the final placement of the piece. Don't you just love it when someone can make a decision?

You did a beautiful job! Love the heart in the round finish, but any way you do it, it will look great!

I think the square suits it best... but so far looks like the rounds have it.

Having seen lots of your other work, I would think the square example would be the easiest to frame or make some other interesting item from. Your stitching is beautiful whichever choice you pick..
We're getting ready for snow here in Virginia.. I hope the weather will not postpone Carole's surgery.. Have been thinking about you and her..

All are beautiful, but I think I like the round for something different.
Did you change the color of the heart as well?
