Hey! How you doing? Hope you're not having to deal with anything right now, but if you are, hoping you have support to get through it. Have you ever sat quietly and recalled the difficult times in your life, some that you never thought you could handle? But you did, and each struggle made you stronger.
I couldn't wait to post this, and while Mark is cooking sausage, bacon, peppers and onions for our scrambled egg and peppers subs, I am typing with greasy fingers.
Sally is over, done, complete, finished, concluded, ended! I seriously doubt that she was the reason for the vengeful return of the flashes, but I am keeping fingers crossed. I don't know where they are coming from now that things have calmed down. So here she is. A few changes, not many.
Some details....

And that's the end of Sally Fiske. Now I can finish listing the Santas for sale which will be under the new For SALE tab. I think the sale will be Sunday and I will let everyone know a day before.
That's it for now!
Say good-bye to Sally.

Sorry about the hot flushes. Mine came, went for several years and are now back with a vengeance so I can sympathise.

Love your samplers. Yeah, going through and shredding old checkbooks - bringing back old stuff - problems with kids, late husband's cancer treatments, my mother's passing, pets who passed - oh, my. Thankful for the good things in life. Keep looking forward. Blessings on you.

Bye bye, Sally! We loved having you around and know you'll continue to bring joy in your finished state. :)
She is lovely, Marly!
I love the finished Sally! I know she's been a trial and tribulation to you at times but just look at what you've achieved! I'm going to have to add her to my list of samplers I MUST stitch ...... assuming I ever finish Eleanor Parr (have you SEEN the size of that girl!) and that I live long enough to plough through the ever-growing list!
It's just gorgeous, Marly...I don't know how you do it....I can't seem to stitch a sampler in three months and yet you get large ones stitched in a matter of a few days. Its beautiful!! I love the way you are going to hang it..
A fabulous finish and superb stitching! Good for you!!!

Hi Marly, Oh she is beautiful, congrats to you and your perseverance with Sally!!! You do such lovely work and finishes as others have said.
And your words of wisdom...yes, when the going gets tough, somehow we find the strength to get through. I have reflected back at times and wondered, gee, could I do that today? I would hope the answer would be yes! Just never ask "what next" as sure as heck you will find out.
Hope your supper was as good as it sounded, blessings as always for all you do for the kitties, Debbie in IL
I am certain it feels good to be done…Congratulations on a beautiful finish!

Magnificent!~
Love Sally. So happy she is going to hang somewhere in your home and you can admire her each time you pass by. Would love to see where you choose to place her - I so enjoy seeing parts of your warm and cozy home. Have a great weekend and enjoy!
Very very nice!!! Why do I love samplers so much?? I loved them & dirty linen long before it was cool. Finishing up a dumb SAL I committed to but them I have a big sampler waiting for me with a fantastic brick house. I know I will hate myself halfway thru the bricks, but that's ok. Hope hope the new year is better for us all. So good hearing from you, Marly. Let's hang in there together. Lost my husband to brain cancer last year. Wish we lived closer....we'd start a helluva stitching group!!!
Absolutely superb finish, Marly!!!
Sally is just beautiful!!The colors turned out just great.
