The berry pattern I used is in a mess upstairs and I will post the measurements if anyone wants to use them. Since the top needs to be narrow, the standard templates weren't working for me. I did find that stuffing it to the very very top with just enough fabric to close made the top narrower. So I used my letter opener and just kept packing the walnut shells in. For one of them to fit the cap, I needed to add more shells and then I laid a tiny piece of muslin over them before I gathered it closed. The fabric didn't quite meet but the muslin beneath held the shells from escaping.

High Sunday will be 49. Before and after, 60. All during, rain.
If you have sun, enjoy it!

I was digging back through some of your recent posts on the berry caps - thanks for this information. I'm going to be gone for a bit but when I get back I'll be ordering some too. Your sampler is coming along well and you'll be having another finish soon!
My Berry caps are on their way!
Thanks for posting the info on them.

This is looking so great Marly! I love these colors!!
Disgusting weather! I have five flats of annuals to plant, but I'm afraid it will get close to the freezing mark here in MIchigan......they'll probably all croak before they get planted....and it's the darn middle of May! Oh wel.....at least we're not getting the tornadoes and hail like so many midwestern states are getting! The berry caps are so sweet. THey will look beautiful on your strawberries!
Isn't this weather the worst, Marly?! I don't remember a May this depressing! At least I get cheered up when I see your sampler with the funky blue people--they really look like they should be riding around in my same-colored loaner car :)
The sampler is wonderful, Marly and I love your color choices! Our weather is pretty sucky too. Can't wait for warmer and sunnier weather to arrive. I want to plant some tomatoes!
We've had rain the last few days but I've been making the most of it reorganizing closets and cabinets.

I'd love the strawberry dimensions.
Crazy weather in Ohio, too.
