White crap!

WTH???  Little rotten flakes falling from the sky.  Just a brief period, but what do you expect when you need a coat and the furnace is still running.

Very pleased with the slight change in the blue.  The single stitched line of a letter didn't show very well compared to the multiple lines in the people.  Using a slightly lighter shade worked perfectly.  The letters stand out better and looking at the piece, you wouldn't know they are different blues.  Several more errors but who the heck can tell in this piece?  It's all over except for the outside border.

While everything is wet (and cold) outside, I burned all the extra papers and non recyclable items, including quite a few paper mache boxes that I will not use.  At the last minute, I decided to keep a few small rounds so I stuck them in my sweatshirt.  And forgot.
I couldn't figure out why I kept knocking into things on the table and counter.  Good thing it was cold and I didn't decide to take a walk.  I think the neighbors have had enough of strange attire.  My frayed edge fabric on the front was fused and sewn to cover paint stains.  Never did add the buttons.

Because of the weather, I have 5 huge ferns and three cats inside.  And I look around to see where Missy is and as usual, her muddy paws are either on my linen, on the sofa, on the bed, or in a closet.  She is such an imp.

Thanks for visiting.

Nooooo, not white crap? It's the middle of May. I hope it's just one final passing flurry for you and you can shed that coat soon.

Big SYMPATHY for the white stuff. It's just not fair, this late in the spring!

It's the middle of May, for cripes sake, but sadly this weather is not unheard of. I sure am ready for some warmer temps.
Lovin' your little sampler.
Hugs :)

Love the sampler and the blue thread on that fabric. It's so pretty. We had that nasty white stuff here in Michigan too. It's been a cold May. Weather said 67 here tomorrow. Yeah!

Noooooo white crap needs to go away for the next 6 months at least. We had lows in the 40's last night and we slept with windows open so the temp in the house was 50 when we got up this morning. You'd have thought it was 30 below the way we all acted while getting dressed.
I also use my tops as a carryall so I'm sure my neighbor folks think I'm so strange anyway. The guy next door likes to remind me frequently that I am a Arkansas Hillbilly and one of these days he's gonna realize just how hillbilly I can go when I whip his ass.
I like the new choice in the blue thread.

Same fun weather here. Our furnace is going too. My tender plants are hiding out in the garage.

I saw on the weather map that northwestern Pa. was getting snow. Thought about you. Sorry ! ! ! !
We had very windy conditions in our neighborhood. Can't imagine what kind of summer we'll have. I'm ready for Fall already.
Have a great week.

I'm laughing...of course! You are truly a kindred spirit when it comes to animals, stitching, bitching, chocolate, and having a warped sense of humor about all the quirks in life. I'm now off to work with a smile on my face. Thanks for sharing.
