Summer

Finally here.  For those of you lucky enough to have your Dad, enjoy the day with him.  The rest of us will be remembering and wishing for just one more day.

I love my crow.  Perched from the kitchen window.....

or next to my swing.  Added bonus here, his bucket is a great hideaway for Dove wrappers.  My husband can spot those bright red foils a mile away.  He doesn't care if I consume more than I should, it's just embarrassing when you keep screaming "I have to lose this weight!"
The brats are still terrorizing and killing chipmunks.  My cousin saw a munk climb into her bush outside her office window, and snatch baby cardinals from their nest.  Mother Nature is one sick cookie.
You know how I hate decision making, mainly because it incapacitates me.  So I may be forcing one on you.  If things work out and I can focus (another elusive trait), well, we'll see.

Enjoy your day.

Ohhh, but I did not know they were carnivorous...even though they are little thieves. I agree about nature...it saddens me.
Really love your crow...can you say where you found him/her?
Just got back from a Fathers Day sermon...Very emotional for me and also good for the soul.

Anyways, Enjoy the day. We are having 105 Temps tomorrow 107. That means NO BBQ. We just came back from 'Red Robin' and my kitchen is still clean. Now I can do some X-stitchin'...Peace to all, Barb

Not wild about crows right now. One landed on the outside flap cover to our bathroom fan vent and tore it off. Now, until we can get an electrician to show up, we have to keep the fan running to keep the starlings out who want to nest in the hole! I watched these shenanigans from my poolside chair and couldn't believe my eyes!

Morning Marly, your crow looks perfect sitting on the post I think...so sad about creatures killing other creatures, didn't think Chipmunks go after birds, boo hoo. Blessings Francine.

Your new crow feeder looks great, Marly. I checked out the website you got it from and had to put down my mouse and slowly back away from the computer--way too many tempting things :)
