I love those funky girls (or possibly boys given what I've been reading about how children were dressed back in the day). Should be interesting on the dark gray. I guess you'll change the black dress, huh?

I think it'll look great! The gold letters on the dark linen is reminding me of Scarlet Letter's Jenny Bean sampler. I don't think you'll have any problems with it on the dark.
I think it will work out fine... a few color changes but then you are rolling along!

Great dark linens, never seen quite a colour like that used :)
So excited to see what this will turn out like! I have not stitched on dark colors as I feel my eyes won't be able to see the threads. You bought some beautiful colors. Thanks for sharing.
