It's a good thing

I didn't attempt a pouch.  SO much trouble with this small piece and there was no good reason for it.  Easy to sew following the straight border, but between the machine, the iron, the interfacing, the glue, the Frixion, the fill - there was a conspiracy to aggravate.  And they succeeded.  Every fricking one of them.

So all I did was use the same leather cording for each and slipped the little heart over.  This way, I can remove the heart to hang elsewhere when I choose, and as always, straps are not in seam but sewn to the back, easily removed also.  If I didn't like this design so much the flames would have been scorching my hair as I croaked out a song.

Although fabulous as charted, I'm glad I removed the row of hearts at the top.

But it's over now and I deserve a treat.  My melt-a-ways are gone.  I guess I'll settle for a Dove with a tall one.  Iced tea of course.
Sweet as can be.

Have a good day folks!
Thanks for visiting.

Very nice finish. So glad you choose to keep it and that your hair did not go up in flames. Look forward to your next post.

So sorry that little beauty gave you a case of the crotchetys, but there isn't one single thing about it that isn't beyond AWESOME!! Of course the pattern is super, but your finishing is so unique-- terrific. I love it!!

Despite all the frustrations, it's a beautiful finish! And I like the look of it better without the hearts. Glad you had the Dove to buoy you afterwards.

It looks great Marly! I like the hanging pillow. The hearts across the top... nah, not necessary--good decision! Congrats on a really nice finish! :)

Beautiful finish Marly! I'm finally getting back to stitching...I want to do a few smalls but am trying to finish a (BIG) sampler that I started years ago (in between the knitting, of course).

That's a sweet little finish. And as for the Dove to top it off, it's a pretty good choice. Nothing says "relaxing" like a good chocolate. Have a great day! --Andrea
