on prices after wasting a lot of time checking online sellers. Some prices are very high for Aida, reasonable for linen, and some are outrageous. So I did what I thought was fair, please comment with your thoughts if you check the page. Shipping is not included, almost all will be First Class at $5 or less. You can email me for a more accurate cost or request Priority.
Now. About Susannah. I needed to take a photo and when I threw her on the table, I felt a twinge of regret. Still thinking about her and since the sale is next week, I have a few days. She looks really nice on a old table and is a perfect size and shape for this type of display. Anyone else throw a sampler over a table top? I haven't found another one that works this well mainly because of the primitive design and heavy linen. Sounds like I'm keeping her, but I still have the chart just in case. She is aged and stained, has been in a drawer for quite some time but she's breathing freely now.
It's freezing here. So disgusted.
Still watching the chicks grow. They were all gray fuzz but now they are getting their true feathers. It's hard to get a decent photo because their bald heads are in constant pecking mode! I hope they grow quickly because hunting season is in two months. Deer season is September and the fawns are still spotted, hoping their moms make it through.
Have a good day.

I love Susannah right there on your table..she'd be a keeper for me...now I am loving this weather...slept with windows open, small fan still running...this morning all doors and windows open, wool dyeing...I have 4 days off and hope it stays just like this...for your sake hope it heats up next week!
Love your Susannah, Marly...the colors are great and, yes! I throw a lot of my small samplers, sans frames, etc., over benches, candle stands, why, even my great wheel displays a few!
You need to keep Susannah. I too love to sleep with the windows open with the cool nights. I like to hear the frogs croaking in the pond. ;)
Oh, my gosh--I love seeing the turkey family! How adorable... And I love the way you've displayed that sampler, Marly--you do need to keep her! She is so "you!"
Yes, this is definitely the summer that wasn't--yuk! I am heading to (of all places!) Texas this weekend right as the hurricane is hitting. Hopefully, the flights will be on time, but I'm not holding my breath! At least it will be warmer there; rainier, but warmer!
Susannah looks lovely on your table. I've never displayed samplers in this manner - until now when I see Susannah! I'm a winter girl so looking forward to the cold temps. Summer heat does not look good on m. Have a blessed day - Kelley Secrest
This is DEFINITELY a keeper....love the sampler and the threads.
