Not running as fast as my nose

Hello friends.  My progress on Ellen Ford has not been what I had hoped.  My pounding head allows for very brief periods of stitching.  I am not crazy about the green and wish I would have used 830 instead.  As you can see, I changed direction of the stitches on the large Hershey Kiss crown's left side.  Usually it is not noticeable on 40 but it is this time.  Once I get to the house at the bottom, I will do the first half of the stitch horizontal and the second half vertical.  Makes for a really nice even fill with my tension issues.
Since this 40 count is so sheer (as you can see from the white paper beneath) I have been careful with the back side's tails.  Pretty darn neat!

Mark is going to Carole's soon and I am watching trucks run up and down the road with radioed dogs running all over the yards.  I have the cats in and am afraid to let them out.  PA doesn't allow hunting on Sunday but we think they are running coyotes.

Poor Nitzy is very sick and after calling an emergency vet place in Ohio, they said his symptoms are almost surely from poisoning.  He was perfectly fine 12 hours before.  We can't really get near him but are keeping him in the house and comfortable, which is what they recommended.  He does seem to be a little better today and drank a tiny bit of water.  Hoping he can recover but if he worsens, we will not allow him to suffer.

Regular programming back on Hallmark tomorrow!!  I wish they would switch Frazier with Golden Girls.  Just can't get enough of that endearing yet pompous ass.

I hope you all have a wonderful 2018, the joy to celebrate the good things, and the strength to weather the bad.

Happy New Year everyone!

Running coyotes, what does that mean? I like the country for trees and free roaming wild life...not hunting. Oh no, I hope Nitzy is better soon. Stay warm and best wishes for 2018.

Interesting about Nitzy. My girlfriends dog was not feeling good this week and then couldn’t walk yesterday. Took to vet. Blood work showed positive for rat poison. So did the remains of a bird in their backyard. The neighbors cat died from it. They put her dog to sleep this morning. Any rat poison around? Or birds? Vet said if they eat something that was also poisonous they will get it too. Just some info for you to consider. Hope Nitzy gets well.

Okay now I know we are sisters from another mother, I am a freak for Frasier, I used to even stay up past midnight to watch that show all the people are such a riot they had great chemistry on that show.
O like the new design, I do like the colors you are using, I did not notice the stitch's until you said something, the back of your stitching is perfect.
I am so sad to hear about Nitzy, I hope it is only a hair ball that is making him ill.
Happy New Year my Friend

I'd have a headache just from working on 40ct....and your back is so dang neat! I adore Frazier and never missed an episode when it was on in primetime. I wish someone would put it back on in the morning or afternoon. I adore his pompous ass! Hope your kitty is better soon. I hate to hear about sick animals. One of my friends had to put down 2 in 2017 and she's hoping 2018 is better.

Oh goodness! I'm behind in blogs because of Christmas music stuff...sorry to hear that Nitzy is unwell. I hope he'll be up and about soon!
HAPPY NEW YEAR to you and yours!
Frasier!!! That is my favorite show. I have the entire show-all seasons-on DVD! I have always loved him and Niles. In fact, we saw "Niles" in a play on Broadway several years ago! The crowd went wild when he stepped on stage! I always call him the dream man! ha But I really like Frasier better! They really should put them on earlier!
